Love it! Easy install, very practical!

Purchased this to carry my trek duosport hybrid bike on my 2018 jeep wrangler JL. Impressed with how heavy duty it is and how adjustable the mounts are even when the bars on the bike are not parallel to secure the bike evenly to the back of the tire. While I only have the one bike currently, there is sufficient space to add a second bike easily. The manufacturer even added nice touches such as a Velcro strap to secure the pedal from spinning and a long tie strap for the wheels to keep them from spinning while transporting. I was concerned about the ability to open the rear swing gate of the jeep while the mount was installed, but the system allows you to quickly slide the arm down to avoid it hitting the rear tire. Because the post for the rack attaches to the hitch mount, I was wondering how close the rack would be to the mounted spare tire but even at the shorter setting (there are 2), it cleared the rear tire effortlessly. It’s evident a lot of thought went into this design. Two things to consider - while not a major complaint, the mount does somewhat obscure the camera which is located on the rear tire so when you put the vehicle in reverse, it sets off the alarm like someone is walking behind the vehicle but you’re still able to see the rear view. The other design consideration is that the pin design for the hitch receiver is more slender than a normal hitch pin and is designed to screw into the hitch hole rather than to slide in. This provides a tighter fit with no rattle when the mount is in use even with a bike on the rack but requires use of a socket or wrench to take it out. If you’re the kind of person who never removes their mount once installed, it’s not an issue. You can still swing open the tailgate easily with the mount in place. But if you frequent automatic car washes that require removing the mount first, remember to keep a small wrench in your vehicle. I may look for a different pin that accommodates the smaller whole opening but really enjoy the fact that the rack doesn’t rattle using the current system and feel it may with something looser. Again, two minor points - overall, I think this is an outstanding heavy duty rack system at a very reasonable price for the quality and design.

Excellent product

I was concern if the rack would clear my 12×35" spare tire but it did with a few inches. It looks great! It drops down to allow me to open the tailgate as usual. I picked the rigjt one for my WRANGLER. I usually look on their website if I want something for my JEEP
