Good starter option for drafts or soundproofing
Pro: Easy to cut and install with regular scissors. The kit comes with wipes to prep the attachment surface. Adding some to the door of the laundry room and my office door meant that I would no longer hear the noise if both doors were closed. Previously you could hear the thump and clunking of the dryer even on low.Cons: As some other reviews mention, there is a strong smell when the rubber is taken out of the bag. It's normal enough for a material like this and can be rectified by letting it off-gas outside or a well-ventilated area. I opened some windows and tossed it into the bathroom with the fan on for a day or two.

Worked Great to Waterproof Yakima Skybox
I purchased an old Yakima Skybox on FB marketplace to use while camping; just place to put all the dirty stuff you don't want to put in your car or camper. The box did not have any weatherstripping, however, and I knew that whatever we put in there would be wet if there was any rain while driving.I followed the directions and used the included wipes to prep the surface after cleaning it beforehand. The weatherstripping went on easily and has stayed in place with use. The D-shape design is key to keeping the water out.I can definitely recommend this product for this or similar use.

Make sure your measurements are correct.
It’s very thin. I might not be able to use it.

Great for Sealing Gaps and Keeping Bugs Out!
I recently installed the 23 Feet Rubber Weather Stripping Door Seal Strip on my front door, and it’s made a big difference. The self-adhesive backing made it really easy to apply, and the D-shape perfectly filled the large gaps around my door frame. It was also simple to cut to the right size, and the white color blends in with my door frame. One unexpected bonus: it’s been great for keeping termites and bugs out of the house! I’ve noticed a lot fewer insects since putting it on. Plus, it helps with insulation, keeping the cold air and noise out. If you’re looking for an easy way to seal gaps and prevent pests, this is a great option!

Nice product
Worked well to stop the air flow around my basement door. Easy to use, just cut it to length, peal the backing and stick into place. After several days the adhesive is holding up great. Would definitely recommend.

Disappointing Adhesion and Durability
I purchased this product for the door seal in hopes of improving insulation in my home and reducing heating costs. However, my experience with this product has been less than satisfactory. The installation process was as straightforward as advertised. Cleaning the door and applying the seal seemed simple enough, and initially, I was hopeful that it would effectively seal the gaps around my door frame. Unfortunately, my optimism quickly turned into disappointment as I noticed that the adhesive backing failed to provide adequate adhesion, despite meticulous surface preparation. Even after following the instructions diligently, the seal began to peel off within a short period, rendering its effectiveness questionable. Here is a pros and cons list according to my experiences:Pros:- Easy installation with self-adhesive backing.- Flexible material suitable for various sealing purposes.- Can be customized to fit different door and window sizes.Cons:- Poor adhesion despite proper surface preparation.- Doubts about long-term durability and effectiveness.- Some users experienced issues with adhesive quality and seal longevity. In summary, while the door seal offers convenience and versatility, its shortcomings in adhesion and durability raise concerns about its effectiveness as a long-term solution for insulation and weatherproofing needs.
