CAMVATE Photography Photo Studio Video Wall Ceiling Mount with 1/4"-20 Thread for Monitor & CCTV DVR Home Installation Surveillance System - 1180

This was just what I needed for easy binocular use on a tripod or monopod.

I bought this as a replacement for a similar mount for a Webcam that unfortunately broke off of the desk it was mounted to while the desk was being moved.I noticed right away that the attachment point is held in place by a single Allen screw that pushes into the side of it. Very loose base even after tightening it as much as I could.Then I placed the Webcam on the mount and went to adjust the ball and it was a huge pain. The knob on the side to hold it in place was virtually unscrewed entirely from the mount and I still had to put more force than I expected to have to adjust it. I ended up pulling it to the absolute edge of where it doesn't fall out and then it just rolled around all over the place, it's like there's no happy medium.I ended up getting a bolt that fit into the ball brace that worked a lot better than the knob, made a world of difference.Rating it 2 stars due to poor craftsmanship and having to replace a part on my own to make it work.

Works great for stationary mounting. I have a canon dslr mounted and it holds up. Only issue is that with light force you can push around the mount even if it's tightened all the way, so put it in an area where no one can bump into it and it will hold its place

The extra length of the shaft allowed me to fine tune the mount and the projector in a ceiling mount installation. Other short-shaft mounts did not leave enough room for adequately fine-tuning and stabilizing a device the size of my projector––were apparently designed for only small camera use.

Drywall screws didn't come with drywall anchors. Other than that, this is a great little wall or ceiling mount for cameras.

I purchased this to secure it to a wood base and mount an Icom IC-705 to it. While the mount was fairly well built it just would not support the weight of the radio.

Product is great, only reason I didn't leave 5 starts is because it did not come with the screws it was supposed to have.

Comes with wood screws and drywall screws but no plastic lags to go into drywall first really easy to set up laying my wire took me longer time than actually putting the attachment to the wall in the projector

Lot smaller than was expecting, have not tried it yet. Seems solid for the size.

I got this to screw into my ceiling so I could set up my projector. The threads are normal tripod threads and it can tighten to any angle very well. Even when I adjust the projector the mount does not move so I don't need to recenter the projector everytime I touch it.

I was shocked when I opened this box and found how cheap this was. I think I paid $12 CDN for it. So not bad. If it was $20, it would be a rippoff. lol Yes it works.

Great quality, easy assembly, realy a bargain for the price! Does the job perfectly for mounting my Oculus sensors to my ceiling!

Holds well but gets loose easily.Too many moving parts
