I normally do not write reviews on items at this price range. One reason is because on may think this is a disposable item. In this case this radio is very well built and the audio is decent. Battery last longer than a radio with AA or AAA as this works on two D batteries. the reception is very good when compered to higher end more expensive radios I have. it was a very good addition to my emergency kit yet I also use it while traveling.
