Oculus head strap
This product was the perfect replacement for my son’s oculus head strap. I know where to go to get the next one if needed in the future.

Frankenquest
I used one on my Quest 2 since shortly after getting it. The OEM Quest 2 strap works for some people but not for me.I got one for my Quest 3 and attached it before using it the first time. The audio cable barely fits on the Quest 3 (but it fits very easily on the 2).The sound is good. Not as good as quality over-the-ear phones but much better than the Quest speakers. You can buy adapters but I did not. I used double-sided foam tape to attach to the sides, and wrapped zip ties around it to keep the foam tape from coming loose. On top I used a loop of coat-hanger wire, the VIVE strap going through that and then used velcro ties to attach the wire loop to the headset.

Another must have for a Vive user.
I know the newer Pro model comes with one from the factory basically, but if you got a Vive for Christmas, have been rocking the crap strap for a while, or like me got impatient waiting for the next model I highly suggest one of these.Whether you need the audio or not, the strap itself makes it worth 100 bucks. It's WAY easier to adjust on the fly, it puts more pressure in more comfortable areas of your head compared to the strap, it doesn't leave you feeling like you ran with a sweatband on all day, and due to the nature of it you can put the HMD on with one hand.....usually. In my previous position at work we got a Vive when it came out. My biggest complaint was the terrible implementation of the head strap compared to what Oculus did with the Rift. Speaking of the Rift, I fully believe the Vive audio strap is much better than what is on the Rift. It's easier to adjust, as said earlier provides pressure to more comfortable areas, and the audio quality (in the short time I used it) seemed better than the Rift's speakers.Speaking of that audio, using the headphones is so much better than the earbuds they provided at launch (seriously, what were they thinking?). Oh, and it didn't come with a dud speaker like our Rift did. If you're into using your own headset, you can do that too. Simply remove the headphones off the strap. Just bear in mind that due to the strap being thicker using a headset will be slightly more uncomfortable. It is for me as I have an unusually large head. It's worth it if you have a nice headset though. Up to you. I'm guessing if you have a Vive your gaming PC probably has a nice virtual surround sound headset. Although the strap headphones are decent for what they are, they are no comparison to a nice headset. If you're looking into using a TPCast, it fits perfectly on this strap and doesn't move around either. Because the foam is thick on top I don't even notice the wireless transmitter on top of my head. Take note, it's kind of a pain in the butt to get the cables in and out of the HMD attachment plastic piece, but once you're done you probably won't look back anyways. This strap also appears to be more kid friendly in my experience, fitting my 6 year old and 9 year old better than the stock strap. This strap plus an 18mm memory foam face piece and your kids can enjoy VR too just like you comfortably...or not. Up to you, but sharing is caring right?

Looks Awesome!
This headset attachment makes my Meta Quest 3 look like a futuristic street kid VR gamer. The only downside is running the audio jack around the headset. But, you can YouTube how to properly hid the cord. No big deal

Makes using the Vive enjoyable
So you own a Vive. No doubt, if you are reading this, you are annoyed about a few features in the default set up. For me, the primary issue was the ear buds. I don't think I have strange sized ear canals or anything--I mean, all of my other ear buds work very nicely, but this thing... the ear buds just wouldn't stay in, they'd pop out or slide out, they seem to be coated in teflon or something, which made using the Vive pretty down right annoying. The second thing that really irked me was the cables hanging out the back. The default design is pretty poor. and no matter what you are doing you feel that bundle of cables, either just the bundle sitting there, or the odd torque it places when turning your head or doing things in the game that isn't looking straight ahead. So, let's be honest. If you, or me, or anyone else who wrote a positive review for this deluxe head strap designed the Vive, we would have made the Vive have this set up right out of the box. It's that much of an improvement over the stock strap. This actually had some thought put into it. Proper cable management so cables are neatly tucked out of the way and strapped down. A brilliantly designed dial at the back of the head set to adjust the tightness and makes for taking it on and off or sharing with others so much easier. And lastly, the audio component just simply works, easy to adjust and sounds great. So, $100 for an already pretty expensive item, even with the now discounted price of $599 is kind of a slap in the face. It is too expensive. But, if you bought the Vive, and actually want to use it without being annoyed, you really don't have too much choice. Put up with the crappy design flaws of the default strap, or shell out another $100 to make your Vive comfortable and enjoyable to use.For those looking and seeing a 1-2 month delivery time frame and just think maybe ordering direct from HTC would be faster, I can tell you mine didn't take that long. About a week from ordering it, to the email telling me that the item I ordered was being shipped ahead of schedule, to it actually being delivered a couple days before it was supposed to by UPS. So, like 10 days.
