Supco SSD8 Washer Washing Machine Drain Hose - No-Kink PVC Poly Flow Hose, Fits Hundreds of Models - 8 Feet

Recently moved into a new house and the dainbox in the laundry room was about 8 inches too high for the original drain hose on my Samsung front-loader to reach -- a MAJOR kick in the stones. My only options were the following: 1) hire a pro to move the plumbing box ($$$$) 2) buy the over-priced pedestal stands ($$$) 3) install this replacement hose ($)I went with option (3) and have no complaints after several months of use. One small caviat...was that the oem samsung hose has a 90-degree bend in it to clear some shock absorbers; however, this replacement hose was just long enough where I could re- route it another way and clear all obstacles.I also HIGHLY recommend buying some legit screw-type hose clamps to attach this hose to the discharge pump! I installed two of them...with just one installed I was getting a slight drip from the fitting.

Quality is good, length as advertised, delivery was quick and price was a deal. Only issue was the fit on the washing machine. The hose is designed to be cut by the consumer to fit your washing machine discharge outlet. I had to cut back two of the sections and it was still a bit loose. I used a hose clamp to secure and that did the trick. My machine is a Maytag - Model #: MVWC425BW Bottom line it worked, would have preferred a more snug fit after cutting back the two sections but the hose clamp keeps it tight and dry. No clamp is provided with the hose.

Needed to install washer further away from slop sink and input water. Purchased 10 feet hoses at same time and you can look up my review if you have same need.This drain hose was a bit odd in appearance as I expected something that would install on washer. Instead, this slips over the existing drain hose. I bought two stainless steel hose clamps (the type with screw to tighten clamp-I don't think I would trust the other kind that uses just spring tension)as I was bit concerned about leaking. It does not feel like a really tight fit when slipping the drain hose over the existing washer hose. But, two clamps seem to hold things.Another solution to problem found picking through Amazon's offerings.

Have laundry area in basement and drain hose needed to reach 6' up wall. Modern machines no longer have drain hoses long enough. Finally found one with acceptable features that had an external drain hose connection, so trimming the adjustable end of the Supco Universal 8' Washing Machine Drain Hose to fit solved my dilemma when my 15 yr. old machine needed replacing. And, I did NOT have to remodel my laundry area at substantial cost and effort. Way to go Supco. It arrived promptly and was much better quality than many others. (Note: Even though the proper adjustment at the end fits the machines drain outlet snugly, hose clamps must be used to prevent leaks.)

Hey Amazon Peep!!!!I freaking forgot to take a picture because I was so upset, but I really needed this hose but needed it in 1.5" end to connect to the washer. I ordered it because the product info says:Product Dimensions 96 x 1.5 x 1.5 inchesOnce I got it upon looking it ONLY goes as big as 1 1/4". So that would not work for me and had to send it back. So if you need a 1.5"(1 1/2") end that plugs into the washer DO NOT BUY THIS......if you need it 1 1/4" your fine with purchasing this item.As far as the actual hose, the quality seems great...wish it would have had the 1.5" I needed :-(Amazon you might want to look into this (look at the physical hose size and product dimensions) and correct this so your customers dont run into this issue like I didGod Bless!Hope this helps guys!

Many of the other options appeared to be very cheap in one way or another after reading the reviews. This one is well built and designed. Shipped on time. One word of caution to also secure a right angle device to go w/ this if your washer drain does not exit in right angle....so you can push it close to wall.

I bought this hose due to the location of my washer hook-up. I have front loaders and the door on the washer can not be reversed, so I was stuck with the washer in a position that the door opened toward the dryer and was in the way when transferring clothes. this product is new now so im not sure how it will age but it seems durable enough. I especially liked how the side that connects to the washer comes staggered in three different sizes. this enables you to cut the larger sizes out until you get to your correct size. great product

This works great ...very easy to connect to the existing drain hose and allowed us to place the washer on the right & the dryer on the left. I had never seen a house where the water connections were on the left side of the laundry room wall. My wife & I are right handed and it's easier for us to have the dryer on the left side. Though I found that all washer & dryers can have the doors placed on either side.
