A lot people write that the print comes off and I’ve been using it quite frequently and so far so good. It has helped a lot and I think I’m love. The only downfall is that it is flimsy, but it does the job well.

I bought one of these from my teacher when I was in middle school and it lasted me 10 years. Lost it (or it was stolen by my roommate before she moved, idk), so I needed another one. This one is exactly like the one I had before except it works better bc my old one used to be difficult to use since the middle circle got deformed and was difficult to turn.

I used this for geometry. My pencil sometimes get stuck in the compass while holding down the circles causing it to mess up. The labels fade away VERY easily but you get what you pay for. If you just want this to get the job done for you and will not be using it everyday, I recommend it. Its decent nonetheless.

This is now my favorite circle maker. So easy to use and it’s accurate. Makes various size circles too.

Of all the wierd things, i bought this for making the circles for MASK making, as I don't have large dinner plates, and it does the job just fine. Had to play with it to find the correct hole, but after trying to make a cardboard compass, and found this little inexpensive gadget that does the job perfectly, I am happy that I don't have to reinvent the wheel, for the gadget already exists. I wish I had known about these when my kids were little, as they would have been safer than the ones with the sharp spike that ruined many a homework page, and the surface of my dining table. No spike, thus no damage to table. Now the white disc doesn't spin freely, so you will have to sit and work the burs off the wheel, and maybe put a tiny amount of vegetable oil to lubricate the wheel, maybe candle wax would also work. Back in the day, the 1960's we did use candle wax to lubricate sticky metal wetsuit zippers.I find this tool works just awesomely for the purpose that I bought it for...SEWING PATTERN MAKING...

This is a wonderful idea. If it were made out of metal and a bit shorter it would be perfect.Problem #01: It is very flimsy. I expected it to be thin but wow. Its a $1 part at best. This causes the compass to move around when in use. If it were made out of aluminum or a thicker stronger plastic it would be consistent.Problem #02: The part that rotates spins terribly. The spin is clunky and not consistent. This issue basically makes the item a straight edge at best.Problem #03: its to long. You have to hold it down and hold a pen and rotate. If you had three hands it might be alright at this length but at the current length it runs into your hands as you draw.

if you look at the other customers photos you can see how bad that lil’ bit of defect ruins the circle.well folks, it’s very simple to trim this defect off. just running the scissor blade over it carefully a few times loosened it off. it is essential you do this. the defect ruins the flow and creates awful circles. as you can see from my photo the circles are smooth.this lil thing is a great addition to my crafting gear.i like to find the best spot on my material to place the compass and do a dry run to see if the circle s in the right spot. then i use a pen or marker in the center with the brass 0 to mark the center out in case anything shifts before i start doing anything or after.the measurements are off. i wanted a 13 cm circle and used their guide. unfortunately it made a bigger circle than 13 cm. so dry runs are utterly important for this to aid you properly. i also put a small piece of sticky tack on the underside so it won’t shift. it’s working great.i was trying freehand and it was utterly bogus stressful and demeaning. this compass works like a charm.highly recommend this to anyone that’s a crafter. and the price is great too! under 10 bucks! toot ! toot !#amazonfind

Compré esta curiosa herramienta para llevármela de viaje y poder hacer círculos sin tener que estar llevándome el compás. Es pequeña, ligera, y hace más de 70 círculos de diferente tamaño, que van desde el medio centímetro de radio hasta los 13. Además incorpora una regla de 10 cm, que para hacer rectas en algún boceto pequeño viene genial. Las dos únicas pegas que puedo poner son que las medidas de los radios sólo están en pulgadas, y que los dos círculos más pequeños que pueden hacerse girando la herramienta no se pueden hacer porque ésta se atasca. Para mí estas dos pegas son naderías en comparación a todo lo que ofrece la herramienta, con el extra de que el centro se marca con el lápiz y después puede borrarse; no deja la típica marca que el compás deja sobre el papel.

Non so esattamente quanto, tecnicamente, possa essere valido questo strumento, ma per le mie esigenze di disegno amatoriale, va benissimo. Ne ho anche comprato un altro.

Produkt ist sehr günstig und macht fast alles was es soll - nur den ganz kleinen Kreis kann ich nicht zeichnen, da dann das Rädchen hakt und sich nicht mehr drehen lässt - das ist dann leider der minderwertigen Verarbeitung geschuldet - aber für meine Ansprüche reicht es aus 😊
