Excellent!
We bought this to replace a DAB radio and a broken CD player with one compact unit, for the kitchen. We wanted almost all the features that this radio/CD player has, we don't need the alarm function and have not tested it but frankly I don't think it has any competition, certainly at the price. It has a very good quality feel and appearance, all works as it should, sounds great and comes with a 3 year warranty if you register. The remote is easy to navigate and the front panel even easier. In short, we are very pleased indeed and have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars.

Great little radio
My first internet radio and its opened up a whole new experience. Setup was straightforward and easy. The DAB+ and FM radios and the number of presets available are also really good. The DAB reception is stronger than my previous radio. The CD function is OK but seems quite slow to load.Operation is easy using the remote handset or by using the free UNDOK or OKTIV phone apps.

Excellent choice for cd dab Internet radio
Speedy delivery. Set up simple including WiFi connection. For me sound is excellent and really loud if you're planning on waking the neighbours! Easy to navigate and no hesitation in recommending.

A compact do all!
First ImpressionsWell packaged and secure. No manual with a QR code to directly link to an online manual which can be downloaded as a pdf (you have to look for the link though). What’s in the Box?Homerton 2, Remote, Batteries and Power Pack/CableInitial Look & FeelLooks to be a premium unit with really nice contrasting colourways. I chose the black option which looks fab. The markings on the unit are difficult to see in bright light - maybe contrasting colour would help here. It’s a solid unit with some weight to it. The remote has all the buttons you will need to operate all functions easily.Setting UpEasy to read on screen instructions guide you through the process of set-up: the online manual is an easy read with plenty of detail to ease you through the various connections.Simply search for your local Wifi network and connect via your Local Password or WPS. Once connected to Wifi the unit really does come alive with all the bells and whistles available to connect to your favourite online music sources.I chose to try out a CD first. I have loads I have not played for some time and it was great to have this function available. How many of us have CDs that are sitting in boxes?!The DAB+ function was easy to set up with all the various Regional and Genre access you benefit from when using digital radio. There is so much content available you will never run out of things to listen to.The Internet Radio function adds to the DAB world and I chose to search for a number of obscure radio stations to see if I could connect. Yes, easy enough to connect to St Lucia & Florida based radio. This is a great function and brings the world of radio to your listening. The only negative I found (a very minor point) was during CD playback. There is no embedded data to display. Maybe an over the air update in the future? As a positive, Podcasts were really easy to access - there are so many available now via DAB+ you could easily lose yourself for hours, days, weeks and months.Bluetooth ConnectionSimply turn your BT device on (mobile phone in my case) and add the Homerton 2. Once done you can use the Homerton 2 to play your digital music. The supplied remote can be used to pause and/or select next/previous track. Easy! Two negatives exist for me here; You can’t connect the Homerton 2 to an external Bluetooth enabled sound system eg my Majority Ben Sound Bar and Sub Woofer. However, you can use the headphone connection to facilitate this if your unit is close enough to make this happen. Nor does what you are playing via Bluetooth show on the Homerton 2 home screen - minor point but useful never-the-less if you like to see your media source and what's playing. One real benefit is the ability to use the Undok App as your remote. This is an app you can download to your phone and then control the Homerton 2 via your phone - a really nice touch!USBI tried to use a 64GB USB memory stick, containing a wide range of my favourite MP3 files I use in the car. The Homerton 2 home screen simply said ‘loading…’. Maybe it was the size of my memory stick but I was unable to play any of the MP3s on this stick. This has been reported to Majority tech support – a friendly lot.SoundFrom such a compact unit the sound is pretty good. There is a small ‘Bass Out Tube’ at the rear which obviously adds something to the sound quality. There is no vibration, even at higher volumes. There is an in-built equaliser where you can select a number of sound options and you can adjust bass and treble.Final CommentsThis is a decent unit that covers all the media bases well. Small and compact to situate in the Kitchen, Bedroom, in a Living Space or as a decent multi-media capable music base situated in your Living Room. The Homerton 2 is easy to set up, has a really easy to use remote (or you can control the unit via the Undok App) and it’s a unit which produces a decent level of good quality sound for you to enjoy music or spoken word media. The DAB+ and Internet Radio are a real bonus (there is so much to access in these formats from all over the world) and the CD player is an oft relegated benefit that seems to have disappeared from comparable units. Most of us have a lifetime investment in CD’s that we have not listened to for ages – great to revisit these with the Homerton 2.The Clock Face when the system is ‘off’ is a nice looking thing and from the clock function you have access to a couple of alarms. And, finally, the home screen is dimmable. For the price, I paid £139.95 from Amazon, this unit is a little gem that will get lots of use.

Great sound, easy to set up & use
Wow!So easy to set up, didn't need written instructions just follow the screen. Easily found Internet & connected really quickly once password entered. Every radio station you could possibly want, using Spotify is easy as paired with my tablet without a problem, and handset is easy to use.Sound is terrific, and bass is good, no adjustments needed. Added bonus is the internet clock (always accurate) and the additional on screen graphics and music info.Love it!

Great for internet radio
A great, compact radio and CD/USB player. I live in an area without reliable radio signals (AM or FM), so having the internet radio allows access to stations from around the UK and overseas. The podcast searcher is also very useful for finding interesting shows. The sound output is plenty - I barely go above setting 9 on the volume control.I haven't used the inbuilt CD player yet.
