Wittner 903090 Taktell Piccolo Metronome,Neon Turquoise

I've had this for four years now and found that it began to slow to a stop and not keep time even though it was wound. This was very disappointing as it's a great metronome with a good sound and not cheap. I was about to bin it when my husband took it apart (easily done) and cleaned and oiled the mechanism. Good as new! Might be useful to know for other owners.

This is my second metronome from Wittner. The first one has been with me for more than 20 years and still working as if it was bought yesterday. The I am so far very happy with this one also. I prefer the actual device to the phone apps and the electronic ones. So much more authentic with it's sound and even the experience of setting it up and using it. I really like this little device. Beautiful colours and design also.

After paying for a cheap metronome and finding it was an awful timekeeper and basically a toy (despite some fab reviews I read... really people?) I bought this. Keeps perfect time, just as it should. Nice and compact. Good sound and can hear it over my clarinet.

Great metronome. Sturdy, like the deep red colour. Not electronic, so there's no opportunity for kids messing about with endless buttons - changing sound, etc. Easy to use. Good steady audible beat. Would recommend.

Well worth paying the extra for a superb piece of machinery . . . This model has no bell to regularise tempo, but this is a small issue, and some may prefer this. . . . The metronome is driven by clockwork and one full wind of the mainspring gives approximately 40 minutes operating time at 180 bpm (Presto) and as much as 1hour 10 minutes at 50 bpm (Largo) . . . Excellent value.

Dear officer:I have just come back from holiday so I missed the refund date, is it any possible I can still have refund? I have already packed the product after I have found it is faulty. Btw it is great product and it is looks vet nice, I have got unlucky to get the faulty one, but the seller they did agree for refund, so hope they still can do refund for me.Best regards;

My son is training to pass his piano Diploma after having obtained his grade 8. He is happy with the accuracy of this metronome. It is smaller than the old one and he likes this. It takes a lot less storage on top of the piano.All in all, successful Christmas present.

Looked at a number of alternatives and settled for something "Made in Germany". It is well built (as you would expect) and quite attractive. Does it's job well. Smaller than I imagined but that does not affect its use in any way. Plenty loud enough with my electronic keyboard.
