This is always precisely accurate. It has a large hook and fits easily over a suitcase handle. I also use it to calculate the weight for items I’m selling online. I put the item in a plastic bag, and then use this to weigh the bag with the item in it. My desk top scale only goes to 5 pounds and this works great for the heavier items.

It doesn’t have long enough grips to get a good hold on. Very difficult to use.

To weigh luggage

I'm replacing a similar scale that I used for years before the screen couldn't show the numbers clearly anymore.This appears to be the same model which I why I purchased it. (While the box was sealed up well, the plastic retail packaging didn't seem that secure. I thought the battery was missing but it took a third or fourth check of the package to realize one was actually there).

With both of my children and their families living overseas, I’ve found I’m packing to the weight limit with gifts, needs, and clothes. This is the best way I’ve found to weigh my luggage before a long trip.
