Timeless Frames Lauren Portrait Wall Photo Frame, 11 by 14-Inch, Gold

I purchased this frame because I needed one to display a portrait of my grandfather for his funeral. At first, I was hesitant because of some of the negative feedback -- I did not want to risk having a bad frame for a very significant and meaningful event. Fortunately, it was perfect for my family and we are very glad to have invested in this frame.This frame does everything a frame should do:1. Houses and showcases the photograph2. Enhances the overall photograph by adding value and class3. Protects the photographOn top of the frame fulfilling good function, it was very affordable and sturdy (considering the price).If you are looking for a frame that has some dimension without breaking your wallet, this is a great option. It isn't your most exquisite frame, but you must keep in mind that such frames can be quite costly. For the price point, this is a fantastic bargain!

My undergraduate diploma sat unopened for nearly 3 years because I could not find a frame that was a) my taste and b) affordable. When I earned my Masters degree, I decided it was past time that I hung the most expensive pieces of paper imaginable, so I went on the hunt for that perfect frame.Most diploma frames (specifically those that are advertised as diploma frames) are out-of-this-world-expensive. And to be honest, most of them aren't my style. I'm not a fan of the cherry-wood and gold plated frames that look like they belong in a museum - I wanted something that looked classy, but modern and this frame is exactly that! I bought two and each of them came wrapped carefully and thoughtfully in bubble wrap and were in perfect condition. They are now hanging in my office at work and I have had several co-workers ask me where I got them and I sent them this product link. They are a huge hit and I love them!

This is a gorgeous frame and mat solution for folks with a traditional design style plus a wee twist of modern flair added to the mix. Used these frames on a project involving framing old and beloved black & white family photographs for older generation family members. These folks already have plenty of professionally framed art and photos on walls, so goal was to fit well in their worlds while keeping to a DIY effort. These frames are really beautiful. The gold tone is soft, a bit different than the traditional gold frame tones, but very beautiful. Frames are solidly made. Corners are clean. Backing is pretty solid. The results were fantastic. Couple folks receiving these asked where we had them framed !? One note, for folks used to that caliber of framing, we will next time add the wire hanging system to backs, perhaps even the paper backing, just to completely hit the highest marks. Otherwise, very happy, so too are our recipients.

So, I had a 12x16'' piece of paper upon with an artist had painted an impression of my wife. The thing then stood and lay in our apartment for some 2.5 years. Then, all of a sudden, I get tasked with finding a frame for it and hanging it on a wall.So, the item that I bought has an opening that is slightly smaller than 12x16''. So, if you want to use this frame, the presentation layer (your photo or painting or whatever) needs to be larger, I guess, 16x20'' to fit in there conventionally, meaning resting on the frame. It wasn't my case. So, I employed some scotch tape and attached the art to the frame's bevel. It worked out great!

I ordered four and they all look good. I didn't find any of the issues mentioned by other reviewers. It is true they are not too strongly built, but as soon as they are mounted they don't need to withstand any pressure that would break them, so that's not an issue with me. I was concerned about the tabs in the back for changing the picture, but I mounted one of the pictures wrongly and had to remove it, which I did with no problem, and I think it can withstand one or two more removals if necessary. It would be better if they used the other system, though. Overall, they look nicely and the black trim on the matt enhances the picture very much. I like them and would buy more if needed.

This is a beautiful picture frame. Five stars all the way. I gave it three stars because the frame came to me with damage. They will not refund my money without me sending the old one back. I understand why. It's fair, I just don't have the time to execute upon that. I work alot of hours and don't really have time to stand in line at my post office to mail this thing back. I just wished it was packed better. Part of the problem was when I took it our of the box the frame had come apart. The glass was seperated from the frame which was seperated from the backing, etc. Had it been taped together or bubble wrapped I don't believe it would have been damaged. Other than that product was as advertised and arrived on time. The frame is still useable just has a quarter size chip on the bottom of the glass. It's also chipped on the wood but on the back of the frame. I'm using the frame and haging the picture in another room. This frame undamaged is a really classy looking frame, does not look cheap and I would have been proud to display it anywhere in my home. Good luck and thanks for reading!

I ordered 4 and I received two different styles. Two did not have a backer board with fixed hangers ( I had to hammer the enclosed hangers on the white matting) The other two in the blue matting had backer boards with fixed hangers. However this couldn’t have worked out better for what I was framing. I didn’t even notice until I had them framed and hung. It just worked out perfectly. But you should know that.

Yes, they're cheap, and yes, they are packaged terribly which might result in damage, but if you luck out and they arrive in one piece, they're beautiful (looking) frames! I was actually surprised that these come with real glass, I was expecting plastic for something so inexpensive. I used two of these to frame my diplomas in my office. I probably should have gotten a smaller one and removed the matting, because I framed my graduate degrees in the 16x20 frames and they're kind of large...but whatever!
