After I spend days trying to find a keyboard for my iPad pro 12.9", I became almost destitute, because hardly any option out there seemed acceptable. Most of them have a huge number of one-star reviews... and when there are almost as many negative as there are positive reviews, this makes me skiddish. I mean, if Apple themselves can't produce a decent keyboard to go with the iPad, why would others do a better job?After letting this whole thing rest for some days without making a decision, I opted for a Bluetooth solution. And since a few expensive keyboards on Amazon had actually terrible reviews, I decided to try a really cheap one, thinking that if this did not work (lagging while typing, losing entire sentences, not pairing and so forth...) at least I would not be out too hard financially.In comes this Omoton Slim keyboard. And so far, I am very impressed! It paired immediately, the procedure was simple and straight forward.It types wonderfully, no lagging at all. It is exactly the size of the iPad (12.9") and it works extremely well with it.2 AAA batteries are easy to install, too. It is well built and light and really slim. I have taken a serious liking to this little helper. Of course, I just got it, so I cannot say what the longevity factor is. But if there is any negative evolution, I shall come back to update my review. So far, it has won me over, and I recommend it!I can only say, Bravo! When I connected this keyboard to my iPad, it worked for about 10 minutes before all the keys started going crazy. When I typed a F, it would show up as "FG", and then when I backspaced it, it would add other random letters. I was really excited about this product because it was portable and I love to write on my iPad but now I just use my MacBook. Would not recommend.**EDIT** -- Shortly after I posted my review, OMOTON's customer service contacted me via email and asked if they could send me a brand new keyboard at no extra cost to me. I received it in the mail the next day or two (priority shipping!) and I am now typing this review very quickly WITH NO ERRORS on this keyboard. I am so happy that I can write on my iPad now!! Excellent customer service and I would definitely recommend this now that it is perfectly functional. Thank you so much!

I am thrilled with my selection of his keyboard to go with my iPhone. I am an avid Duolingo user and love the mobile version the most, but my hand was getting cramped from typing on the tiny screen keyboard. I did a lot of research before hitting on this method of basically using the phone as a computer.The Bluetooth connection happens instantly and flawlessly. I had to write a + and - on the On-switch, as it’s difficult to see the tiny molded plastic letters. If you leave it on, it will stay on forever; imho that is the only flaw in this product and easily adjusted by turning it off manually.The quality is superb, it looks exactly like an Apple-built product to my eyes. I paired it with a similar metallic iPhone stand, and I now use it for about 99% of my light computing needs.

Update 11/2019 - Had this keyboard for nearly a year now and its worked consistently well. I did feel the need to knock off one star, however, as two of the keys popped off - the right ALT/OPTION and COMMAND keys. Not too much of a biggie as the ALT/OPTION key popped right back on. However, the COMMAND key locking tabs on the the key snapped off so its not going to stay on. Regardless, the core function of the keyboard is sound and I continue to enjoy using this keyboard. I’m going to reach out to OMOTON to see if they can send me a replacement key.Original review (01/2019) Keyboard arrived today and seemed of good quality. Instructions were clear and after inserting two AAA batteries and turning the unit on, I was up and running. The bluetooth connected seamlessly to my iPad 10.5 Pro and worked immediately. Typing feel is good with strong tactile response. When the iPad went to sleep, it took only a few seconds after waking the iPad for the keyboard to respond. No more than five seconds. I have not had a chance to test the battery level on the keyboard, but since it uses two AAA batteries that are easily replaceable, I’m not anticipating any issues. I will update as time goes on, but overall, this is a five-star product based on price, ease of connection, and usability.

The sleep timer is set much too short and is not adjustable...at least I haven't found it. Believe me, I've looked. There is a 3 or so second delay when the keyboard wakes up and that is VERY inconvenient. I constantly have to retype many words. VERY ANNOYING! The battery life is extended due to this very short 3 minute 'on time' but it adds to the frustration of using this keyboard .problem Once the keyboard is alive and well, it works rather well. The 3 star overall rating is because of the short sleep timer, even to get a cup of coffee is a race against the clock. I would rather replace batteries than to put up with the annoyance of this keyboard. There is a reason it's so cheap.

Just received it and I’m typing with this keyboard. My rating is 3/5, considering the cheap price.Overall: The quality is cheap, feels very flimsy, not sturdy at all.Noise: Makes loud noise while typing. Need to be extremely slow and careful to type quietly.Appearance: The letters on the keyboard are stickers, not printed. The fonts are larger and less clear than the font in the product image.In general, if you are looking for a keyboard for convenience and don’t care about quality, this product is okay for its price.

Out of package it seems great. I can’t speak to battery life right now. It’s a $12 keyboard. And for a $12 keyboard I’m really happy so far. It looks nice. Obviously not aluminum- but looks nice. Lightweight. Perfect for being able to type when using my iPad Pro (2017, 10.5”). The keys are a little noisy, but it doesn’t bother me at all. Keys feel nice. Easy to pair and turn on. For the money, I’m very happy.
