Craig Frames Contemporary Picture Frame, 19 x 25 Inch, Black

Okay, here is my experience. Saw the negative reviews, mostly about poor frame joints. Figured I could probably easily fix that if I happen to get a rotten one. Well, of course, one of the two I received had a 1mm gap between two of the joints (at least it wasn't both frames?). Well, it wasn't too hard to fix, although I really shouldn't have had to. The real thing that irked me beyond belief was the huge scratches on both of my plastic panels. That's something that I can't easily (or cheaply) fix. Now I'm going to have to go buy replacements at my local hardware store...sigh. The worst part was the panels had a protective covering on one of their two sides. These protected sides had no scratches at all (of course). So why on Earth would they not have protected the other side? It's just poor design.

It’s really cheaply made and it was falling apart out of the box. The “wood” was crumbling around staples that held it together. It wasn’t dented or banged up from a shipping. The material is simply weaker than balsa wood. I will be returning it first thing tomorrow and I wont be getting another one.

I know I should not assume but I did. I assumed there would be glass in the frame. No it is a acrylic. That’s what “acrylic facing” means. I also did not expect 2 frames. All in all for the price, even though there are 2 frames included, I don’t feel the quality is worthy of the cost. Although I think it was well made, it just feels cheaply made. I think not having the glass is what did it for me. Unfortunately the frame was for a surprise presentation to someone we wanted to honor. Because I felt the frame was not deserving of the award or the person being honored I have since gone to the expense of having the award framed professionally. Sorry to the manufacture and sellers but that is the way I feel.

The comments on the ad for these frames say that there is a glass pane but in reality it is plastic. Also you have screw in the hooks yourself so this frame requires assembly. You need wire cutters and a screwdriver. The only reason I didn’t send this piece of crap back is because I needed it in time for a specific reason and didn’t have time to get a new one.

This looks cheap. It looks like wood-print sticky paper stuck onto particle board. The wood grain does not line up at the corners and there is noticeable gaps in each of the corners. However, my biggest issue of all is the thin, flimsy piece of plastic they have as the front. I guess I wasn't expecting glass at this price, but it's almost like saranwrap it's so thin, scratch-able and bendy. It's just cheap and bad looking.

This frame was better than I expected from some of the reviews. Many complained of the frames being broken or scratched or very poor quality. I didnt experience any of that. It was packed very well, and arrived in perfect condition. Yes, if I was going to be nitpicky one corner of the frame was a very tiny bit off and didnt meet perfectly. But this frame is priced at a level that you are going to have those issues. I dont notice it at all if I'm not looking for it. I was very pleased with the frame for the price. I put a completed puzzle in it and it looked great. I bought a 20x27 white smooth, and was very happy with the $170 I saved from a custom framing quote even with a big coupon.As far as any negatives, I wasnt crazy about the plexiglass included. It was flimsy and not as clear, nor as non-glare, as I'd like. However it is acceptable for the price.Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, and I will buy another.

This is perfect for the 1000 piece puzzle project we're working on. I've purchased 3 of them now. They come packaged well, haven't had any damage, and the Plexiglas is as clear as glass.Things to know:It comes with the mounting hardware - usually taped to the backside of the frameYou need to take the film off BOTH sides of the PlexiglasThe back is cardboardIt has fold-able tabs that hold the cardboard and puzzle/picture in (not the little spinning things)

This attractive Craig frame solved my puzzle-framing problems! Many 1000 piece jigsaws are labeled 19.5" by 26.5" (and are either slightly bigger or smaller). This 20" x 27" frame is the best possible fit, and a simple strip of black artist tape along the sides of the puzzle (see attached photo) will skillfully hide any extra frame backing. A big plus is the excellent customer service. When I called to ask specifics about this product, a friendly and knowledgeable representative (Trevor) answered all of my questions and guaranteed me he would exchange the frame if my puzzle didn't fit. Not the nicest frame, the wooden corners were not a tight fit, can see space in the joints.

Quite flimsy. Backing is only cardboard. It looks good once on the wall but I wouldn't rate the quality as high.

Frames are great! and reasonable price. excellent packaging! highly recommend ☆☆☆☆☆
