It’s the same stuff the shop uses. Covered my break lines and everything behind manifold. 1,100 degrees proof!

Used this for the Transmission tunnel on a Rock crawler , cut the heat inside the cab by half . Molds to contours very easily . expensive but great product .

First off KRD has some awesome products & I was excited to try this heatshield out (I really have been enjoying their heat protection automotive line of products & AN fittings) I have mine Installed on a Turbo Lancer covering a section of open hood vents. The Aluminum heatshield itself is easily flexible to your desired position, the only the I would knock a point off for would be the fiberglass backer pad (if you want to use it for your application) It's not fully adhered very well and can easily be torn away from the shield itself. Overall I do love this product and compared to the competition it is priced nicely! 4/5!

I have a large toaster oven that gets very hot on the top and sides. I have to be very careful what I put on top of it. Things inadvertently get placed beside it and it can melt them. This provides a good heat barrier.

Not sure if in transit the adhesive was damaged, but my material was delivered and when I picked it up the white insulation was delaminating from the aluminum. This can be an issue in the vehicle having loose fabric.
