It was lost, and finally 61 years later I discovered this reissue of it. Exactly like the one I had (more durable and better quality) and am so pleased with it. I have read the Stevenson novel and this illustrated version is a perfect telling of it. I don't know why all the movies made of it have changed the story so drastically, the novel surpasses them. I highly recommend this and other classics illustrated for children, young & old. Review: Timeless rendering dome without over the top gore are ugliness. The art is crafted very well. A+++++++++++++!!! - A faithful and very well produced telling of one of the worlds greatest stories. I give this as a gift often to my friends kids. You cannot miss with the Classics Illustrated series.
