Edan Bio Protech Adult Foam Tab Electrode (Qty of 1,000)

Why do I keep buying these?1. The adhesive does not go bad with time or in hot conditions (at least not in my experience)2. They hold well on the skin, even with heavier ECG clips3. They do not tug at patient’s skin when being removed4. Minimal interference compared to other types of electrodes

I keep changing my mind about 3M v. Edan. I now think 3M sticks better but both fail when I swim or sweat a lot. I use both almost daily for Holter monitoring (with Heal Force PC-80b from Ebay). The rhythm baseline is clean with fresh patches, a bit jittery after sweating or swimming unless there is outright failure (separation of patch from skin). 3M might be a bit better but not a lot.

These electrodes are very good for Holter monitoring and for treadmill tests, staying in place even with prominent sweating.
