For the last few months my MacBook keyboard and touchpad would stop working intermittently. Finally, when I changed the battery over the weekend, they completely quit working. My son told me it was likely an issue with this cable, so for $10 delivered I ordered it to try. Installation took about 2 minutes using the screwdriver that came with the battery (none comes with the cable, so you'll need to get one if you don't have it) and now the keyboard and trackpad work every time. All you have to do is remove the bottom cover (remember which screw goes where), pop the old cable off and snap the new one in. The cable is a little longer than the original, so I didn't use the adhesive to glue it down, but that doesn't seem to matter.

10/10, my trackpad, keyboard, and Bluetooth all stopped working at the same time. I did all the troubleshooting online which worked for a small time and then would eventually the keyboard and trackpad would die again. Super easy to install and yes the ribbon is too long but it’s because the OEM ribbon is folded to fit perfectly. I had no issue just slapping the back on the MacBook Pro and screwing it on even with the extra length. I’m sure I’ll have to replace the ribbon again in the future, but for now everything is working again. So happy I could pay $10 and spend 15 minutes to practically get a brand new MacBook again. Saved me so much money. Just make sure you get the right tools to open up your MacBook and you can find a tutorial on YouTube. Super easy, you just unplug the battery (scariest part in my opinion) and remove one plate. The ribbon comes with adhesive as well so you can take it down to the battery just like the OEM. Still not sure why the ribbon made my Bluetooth work again as I thought the ribbon was only for the trackpad and keyboard... but I’m not complaining!

It's worked. So that's a win. It's close but not exact to the original. You'll need to prebend it some (But be very careful) to get it to fit properly. Some will say it's "Too Long"... but bent correctly it fits the bill.

Didn’t work to fix the issue I’ve been having with my 2014 MacBook Pro 13” where its built-in trackpad and keyboard do not respond, but it fit fine. I already had the iFixit kit so getting to it was a nonissue, nor was replacing it. Its quality seemed on par with the OEM part, if a bit long. Just had to fold it to fit. While I ended up returning it simply because it didn’t fix anything, I have no issue with the product itself and thought its price was fair and it was compatible with my MacBook.

Early 2015 macbook pros are notorious for having trackpad cable issues. I went into Apple and they said they opened up my computer and did a "fresh reconnect." Well let me tell you: that was a complete lie because I just opened up laptop and I saw the dust from the middle ages. This computer has never been opened. Replacing the cable is no simple feat (not for the faint of heart). The cable is a whole 1.5 centimeters too long so you have to bend it several key places (I recommend creating several pieces of swan origami to practice). But let me tell you putting the computer back together after a solid 15 minutes and seeing the trackpad respond to my golden touch was an absolute glorious moment of victory. 6/5 would dissemble again. BTW - Make sure to buy the special screwdriver kit to go along w/ the cable (the screws on the backpanel use a special shape).

Mine didn’t work. The trackpad is slightly clickable and the cursor kinda moves but not in a useable way.

Fixed my MacBook, now I can actually use it instead of staring at it and wondering why it doesn’t. Easy fix too.

Just changed this in my mac as keyboard and trackpad were not working. Its working again. Good product. Apple is gonna charge me several hundred pounds to fix this which i fixed under 10$.
