Quality and versatility!
.Finally, a table that will go low enough to put my laptop in easy reach when I'm in my living room chair - but not so low as to make me hunch over and hurt my neck, like the little side tables I've put up with until I found this! Plenty of room for a laptop and a notebook, but not overly large and intrusive like many others. The slant of the stem is perfect to allow leg room. Height adjusts easily, casters roll smoothly even on my high-low area rug. The tempered glass top is heavy, good quality and looks sleek and clean. Very solid stand. Note: It would be easier to assemble with two people, but I managed it alone just fine.

Perfect for laptop needing a stand that doesn't take up a lot of room
Very happy with this item. Assembly was easy - instructions provided were clear and easy to understand. After assembly, this unit has worked very well as a laptop desk for me - like how it tilts for ease of use and viewing. Got this because we moved to a new house and didn't really have a space for a larger desk to me to use. Placed in a corner of our living room where I can move it into place when I need it and push it back to where it won't be in the way afterwards. Also, very sturdy, moves easily, but locking wheels facilitate it staying in one spot should you need that. Definitely worth what I paid for it.

Nice Laptop Desk
Purchased to use with a small laptop and a chair that sits rather low. This was the only laptop desk I could find that would adjust low enough to work with this chair. It was easy to put together and is reasonably sturdy. You have to be careful when rolling it though, especially when rolling it backwards as a careless push could tip it over, especially on carpeting. However, I paid less than $40 for this, so I wasn't expecting it to be made of perfectly balanced steel and fine mahogany. I did my due diligence before purchasing. Even though the listing says that it tilts, other reviews and the Q&A section stated firmly that it does not. And you can tell by looking at the picture that it does not tilt. So I knew that going in. I see now that Amazon has pulled this desk because of concerns about how it is shipped. I have to say that even though mine arrived in perfect condition and no parts missing, it was not packed particularly well. Each piece was slipped inside a thin plastic bag and all of the pieces were loose inside a large box. There was no other packing material. So I could see that with careless handling, damages could easily occur. I also paid heed to reviews that warned against tightening the desktop bolts too tightly as they could pierce the desktop. The only gripe I have with the quality (because again, I'm not expecting the moon for less than forty bucks) is in the mechanics of the height adjustment. I expected that there would be holes in the upper post and that you would adjust the height by fitting the side knob into the appropriate hole. Instead, there is a soft plastic "sleeve" inside the bottom post that the upper post fits inside. Tightening the side knob exerts pressure on the sleeve and it is that pressure that holds the upper post and desktop at the desired height. This seems to me like something that could fail more easily than having a bolt that would fit into a series of holes. I could also see that if you tightened the knob too hard, it would go right through the soft plastic sleeve. So I'm leaving off one star for that. But overall, it serves a specific need for a very low price and I can finally work at my laptop in my favorite comfy chair.

Best laptop stand for sitting or at the office! Sturdy center design - no wobbling.
Great value and a solid piece for use as a laptop cart. It rolls well, it’s not wobbly, and it has a center post with an angular lean making it perfect for the couch or my chair. Again, for the money, this cannot be beat. The product is perfect for those sitting at a desk or chair with their laptop. I'm sure it has other uses, but as a laptop stand it was excellent and extremely sturdy. It may or may not serve well for those in bed, but I suspect it would have to be used side saddle for "in-bed" users. I don't allow electronics in my bedroom so I wouldn't use it for that purpose. Adjusting the height is easy and simple. There are no notched holes for the screw down adjustment knob, but I find it tight enough without notches. After 2 weeks of non-stop use, there has been no slipping. The top surface is 24 inches wide, wide enough to accommodate my HUGE 17 inch laptop and a large trackball mouse. The top is made of wood and is solid. The piece assembled quickly. The instructions are very basic but you can figure out most of what’s not written from photos of the final assembled piece. The base is shallow in height and slid perfectly under my den chair that is pretty low compared to standard furniture. Assembly notes: 1) Mine came with 4 lock washers that were included as extras and not described in the instructions. It was obvious they were intended for the base as that’s the fulcrum of this stand. I added the washers’ top-side of the base post screw down to lock down the screws from the top- the threaded washers were on the bottom and secure the bottom well. 2) Be sure to pre-fit the top wood part of the unit to the metal piece it screws into to get it correctly situated directionally before tightening it down. It can be kind of a palindrome, but luckily it’s either one way or the other. After you situate it, put it on the unit when fully assembled, then you can screw the top down to the metal bracket provided. You can screw it down to be horizontal as it was built, or you can do it backwards which does put the top at an angle if you prefer that. There is no adjustment for the angle of the top. I’m giving this 5 stars due to price, quality, and how well it works for its intended purpose. If something happens and it fell apart after a year for whatever reason.... so what – I’ll buy another one at this price point. Probably going to buy a second unit for my office.

I would say this was an average table. the wheels are good. But its wobbly, you need to be careful when you accidentally lean on it or put some force on it. Spacious enough for a makeshift work environment. The height is not too much when fully raised. Its a good purchase for couch, bed or work chairs.

Not strong product.

Cannot sit properly behind this desk, there is not enough room for the legs and chair.
