This is a great set for gifting. It can be used by children who like to play dress up and it's quite good for pretend play.I wouldn't buy for teens who are genuinely interested in make up though, as it is quite basic. It includes 6 pastel type colours that are appropriate for young children and fun to experiment with. There's also a light pink nail varnish, a nail buffer, face stickers, a brush for application and a lip gloss.The lip gloss is quite moisturising and adds a shine to the lips.I would certainly recommend this set for play mainly.

So I got this for my nieces up & coming birthday as she loves playing dress up but I have to say I was a little disappointed.As you can see it does look pretty cute & large from the box however ALWAYS read the labelling! As it does state on the box it is 7 piece set so it is exactly what you can see in the picture so when you open the box & see the big expanse of bare plastic it does feel a little sad.I won’t be giving this to my niece as I know she would probably think the same, what kid wants to look at what could have been space.The contents isn’t amazing either & I understand it is a child’s set but the eyeshadows have no lid so they would be open to the elements once used allowing dust & grime to get on it……not very hygienic in my opinion.The little nail polish is a weird nude colour surely a nice pink would have been more suited?The nail file although a cute flower shape was flimsy I’m not entirely sure what the big brush is for as there is no blush in this kit unless that too is the pink shade in the eyeshadow palette as see in advert pic? Mixing eyeshadows & blush not the best idea. The brush itself is pretty though. I understand it’s all pretty subtle colours for a youngster so in that sense I get the colour use but a few extra bits like maybe a hair bobble or band or additional nail polish to fill the kit maybe would have been good.The lip gloss is good but it’s pretty basic like the the rest so overall I wasn’t blown away by this especially for the £14.99 price tag…..I’ve seen much better child’s makeup kits for the same or a fraction more in price & they far exceed the quality of this one.There is social media links & other stuff to make this set interactive which is a brilliant idea just a shame the kit wasn’t a bit better thought out.

My seven year old is always wanting to play dress up and play with my makeup. I love this little set as she can’t do any damage or end up looking too atrocious 😄The eye shadow colours are pretty, shimmering pastels with just enough pigment. They come with two little applicators and she finds them easy to apply.There’s also a cute flower shaped nail file, nail stickers (some of them are too large for her nails) and a pale pink nail polish.She loved the lip gloss tube!There is a cosmetic brush included and she has used the pinky shade eyeshadow as a blusher which again looks subtle on.Overall, a cute set for younger girls (I’d say up to 9 max) my 12 year old finds the contents too babyish.Expensive fit what’s included but my seven year old is very happy, especially with the palette and lip gloss.

Great makeup kit for kids or teens,Came nicely packaged, with face/nail stickers nail polish and file, with lipgloss eyeshadow and brush ,Everything looks great quality , eyeshadows are really beautiful and sparkly, and good thing is that polish is without acetone what is good for kids gentle nails and skin

not too sure as to just what age range that this is being aimed at. the instructions say eight plus, the box is showing a young teenager, and the contents would put at four/five. i would put it more at the lower range personally.the set itself comes with nail polish, lip balm, nail stickers, cosmetic brush, eyeshadow pallet and a nail file.
