I smack these against the trash bin to empty out the worst of it but getting everything that's lodged in the little holes is a manual job, not really a big deal but can start to smell if left uncleaned

This was not flimsy, it had a little girth to it. Won't be bending under regular use.

Great product, nicely finished, real heavyweight stainless, so the water flow doesn't lift it like other products, letting the debris escape under.The beveled edge is perfect, because it lets the flow of water easily deposit all the debris straight into the strainer's basket, so they don't get stuck around the brim. It is very easy to clean and the basket is large, so you don't need to empty it every 30 seconds when cooking.I have purchased many other models before, both plastic and metallic, but this one is the best quality so far. I am super happy with it.

I have a beautiful farmhouse sink I wanted a strainer basket to keep small particles out of the drain. These are perfect! And they look beautiful

We only needed 1, but will save the other for who knows? This is just a tiiny bit smaller than our drain but it catches all the small things that otherwise would go right down and stop up our old pipes. I would recommend.

I had a different strainer before these, that used the wire mesh method. That one worked fine, but over time some of the wires came loose and would jab me in the hand when trying to clean it.This model is far better, since it uses a perforated metal screen. Drains very well and is easy to clean. It has been very durable so far too (used for 4 months so far).

AWESOME!! I used to have a finer mesh drain thing, but food got stuck and it was a pain to clean and usually went into the dishwasher. This drain thing is beautiful! So easy to clean and never goes into the dishwasher. It's good quality and sturdy and hopefully won't rust. I'd buy again, and again, and again. LOVE IT!

This should be a STANDARD when you own a sink.They're wide and can catch a lot and rice will not get through.It'll definitely save our (drinking) waters from having to pour DRAINO and other poisons, as well as calling a plumber to clear a clog....and all because we were to lazy or cheap to order a strainer.You can pay less than $20 or $20 for a bottle of fluid that poisons your water and doesn't do a damn thingOr, call a plumber to clear things up for over $200.This is an under $20 preventative way of not having problemsAgain, this is a must have with every kitchen sink, SO MUCH LESS HASSLE

I can say with conviction that these strainers may have been the best $15 i ever spent. I love having 2 because I can rotate them and pop one in the top rack of the dishwasher when it starts to look a little used. Ordering some for my mom right now.

These probably won't last forever, but I have been using one for a month and scrubbing it with a coarse sponge. Holding up well so far. Mechanical design is good. Anything that gets through is not big enough to matter. My drain does not stink, so hardly any food particles are going down it.

Nice hole size and fits my sink perfectly. Solidly built.It can be a bit annoying taking it out of the sink to empty it though, since it fits pretty flush with the sink and there's no easy way to take it out. Also debris doesn't fall out of it easily when trying to throw them in the trash.

They do not clog up if not overloaded and easy to dump out the stuff it traps. I do not let stuff sit around as things get slimy quickly. Easy to hand wash. Very sturdy.
