Thick stainless steel! A small amount of play, which is fixed with a strut or spring in use. But was perfect for mounting on carpet! Dimensions and hole placement are great for holding plenty of weight support.

I've yet to use these hinges. They look fine in their package. If they preform poorly once I get to them, I'll let you know.

A little more loose than I would prefer, but good enough for a wooden locker cover.
