A must-have brush for watercolor painters
Purchased this item without ever having seen it before and it has turned out to be an excellent watercolor brush. The brush has a sharp edge on the tip; useful for painting very fine lines for tree branches, grasses, or fence posts in landscapes. Dipping the brush into water, then using only the tip of the brush, it is easy to lift watercolor paint off the paper to create very fine lines that reveal the color of the paper. Glazing over these areas of lifted paint creates interesting effects. The brush also holds a good amount of paint for quickly covering large areas.So as to not forget this indispensable brush when going outdoors to paint, I am purchasing another to keep with my backpack painting supplies.
