POCOmne Air MIPS Bike Helmet for Commuting and Road Cycling

I tried many helmets from POC, Bell, Sweet Protection, Bern, and Kask. The POC helmets are exceptional in terms of comfort, materials quality, fit, and design.I needed a helmet for mainly commuting and road riding, and I have a slim complexion that benefits from a low profile. Most helmets look pretty goofy on me.This one was the most seamless and low profile of all I tried, and also the most comfortable, only rivaled by the more expensive Bell helmet.I recommend trying as many as you can, but rest assured I've tried them all and POC helmets live up to the recommendation.Sizing was true to my expectation—I usually wear a medium, and the M/L was on-point. I find most helmets are uncomfortable when pressure is applied from different directions. This one felt snug in place and perfectly padded.Aesthetics are 8/10 for me. You may or may not like the traditional / clean look, and I don't love the back + over-prominent graphics, but still it looked best on me of all I tried.

This helmet is not the cheapest, but it does come highly recommended by different testing sites. I spend a lot of time on the bike, so it is important to me to have a good helmet and since the helmet lasts a few year, I can afford to pay a little more for it.Protection: I can't attest to safety, but several site are available to show test results and this one ranks high. It uses POC's newer MIPS system, which provides rotational protection in addition to the straight impact.Ventilation: In terms of ventilation, it is not the highest hole count out of POC, but feels cool enough even in summer. The newer MIPS system is supposed to allow better air flow compared to the old one, and that seems to have worked for this helmet.Fit: The helmet fits very well and has a good range of adjustments. It is a little tricky to do the initial adjustment because the way the straps are connected. I've heard others complain about that. With a little patience, a good fit can be reached and with the tighter straps I have not had them move out of alignment or slip. I have ridden with this helmet for over a 2 months, several hours a week, and no re-adjustment needed. Overall, it's a fit once and forget, so having a slightly more difficult initial setup is not really a big deal.Overall, a recommended product. There are other helmets in this price range that are probably as good, but this one was on sale and I liked the color, so that's the one I ended up buying. No regrets on this purchase

As stated, good looking, great materials, almost feather weight. However, sizes are wrong and that matters too much.I ordered Large (59-62cm) considering my other Giro helmets are all 59-63cm. After receiving the helmet, I can see that it is a Large, but the actual size in the tag is 56-61cm. Apparently, I need that extra cm that's advertised in this listing. It fits poorly. Looks small for my head.Another thing: how come a POC helmet can't steadily hold POC glasses and Giro helmets can? That's disappointing.

Der Helm sitz bei mir sehr sicher und bequem. Er ist außerdem schön leicht und wirkt rein optisch auch nicht so klobig wie andere Helme. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

I bought this helmet this year and have been out riding long distances most days. 3 weeks ago I took a significant fall coming down off the North Downs in Kent. I was knocked out, broke a bone in my arm and was black and blue from the fall. My head hit the road with a thump. This helmet saved my bacon! Worth every penny and I will be buying a replacement once my arm is fixed. An excellent safety helmet that was comfortable to wear over thousands of miles on my bike!

Warto zwrócić uwagę że producent oferuje modele 'wide'. Jeśli jest się bliżej górnego zakresu rozmiaru lepiej unikać albo gdzieś przymierzyć. Byłem w stanie go założyć tyko ściskał mnie po bokach, chociaż rozmiar miałem 1cm mniejszy od max. Może być to zw. z fasunkiem MIPS, bo on zajmuje chyba więcej miejsca.Dodatkowo paski są wiotkie i wąskie przez co potrafią się poplątać. Nigdy wcześniej nie miałem takiego problemu z kaskami.
