10/10
If you’re looking for this size, ignore the naysaysers. I had no problem swapping the clip to the other side. It’s exactly what you’d expect for construction from Kershaw- tight, rugged and simple. The ring feels good from the inside and out. The texture and angles on the outer part of the ring are perfectly placed for stability. It opens in a flash, is laser sharp and stays in your pocket with a clip that won’t let you lose it. I thought it was such a good value that I bought another for a backup! I don’t wanna be without it! :)

Sturdy and SHARP
I'm very happy with this knife. It's not overly cumbersome so pocket carry is nice. It's very sharp and cut through cardboard, which I used for a tester, far better than other knives I've bought for around this price range. The grip feels comfortable and I can do flips with it easily (I don't recommend doing that unless you use a trainer first). It opens with authority and the flipper tab requires a reasonable amount of force to deploy the blade which I prefer as I don't usually buy springs assisted knives for their hair triggers, and how they sprung open when I've bent down or fell before. This is much more sturdy and will stay put till you want it open. Highly recommend👍

Nice folding claw with one pretty big flaw.
If feels like a nice quality tool, has good ergonomics, the assisted opening works great and the blade is very sharp. However, there is a design flaw that which makes this knife less than ideal in a defensive situation. It's not set up to open in the standard karambit defensive grip, with the index finger in the ring, pinky by the the blade, with the claw pointing up. Instead, it's designed to open in the pinky in the ring, thumb over the blade, with the claw pointing down configuration. If that doesn't bother you too much, this is a really nice karambit for the price. I am not too bothered by it myself and am glad to have this knife to my collection. Can't give it a perfect score though.

Very nice assisted open Karambit
This Kershaw Karambit excesses all my expectations. This type of knife is more for self defense than an attack weapon so quick deployment is a must and the assisted open fulfills that. It is slim and lightweight and stone washed dark color - a good candidate for conceal and surprise deployment. The blade size is just about right and it is hair shaving sharp. The blade metal is good but not premium but that’s okay because this is a knife for self defense rather than an utility knife and I am not going to cut anything with it. The handle material is a little slippery and the texture on it doesn’t help much however with finger in the ring the knife isn’t going to drop out of your hand. Once you press the flipper to open the knife you will be holding the knife in forward position and it is a bit more hand and finger movement to change to reverse grip. Overall for a little over $40 this is a wonderful assisted open Karambit: it is sharp, quick and feel good in the hand.

My favorites knife I have ever bought.
I have always loved Karambits. I have a few different styles but all the fixed blades are a pain to carry comfortably. This is the first folding Karambit I really liked that wasn't cheap feeling and trashy material. I have some really expensive pocket knives, I mean like 300-400$ ones and I like this as my daily carry more than those. Primarily because for normal cutting instances, this is sufficient, and if I break, I would not be pissed like I would with one of my expensive knives. So far, I have only sharpened this once and used it as an EDC for boxes and everything else. The curve on the blade makes drawing the knife towards you with a cut slightly 'pull' the object towards you that you are cutting. It seems to help it not get away from you like a straight blade does.I have thought about buying a handful of these given the price and just have them around. It always seems when I find something like this I really like, it goes out of production. I would be very sad if that happened with this knife. I primarily buy Zero Tolerance knives (the higher quality sister company to Kershaw) but Kershaw is still a solid step up from the normal junk you find at a gas station checkout or county fair kind of knife shop.I would recommend this without hesitation. It is comfortable to use in either position of grip with the karambit, the clip and the finger ring make drawing it out of a pocket easy, and the dark color makes it discrete. The only thing I might say I don't care for is it is slightly difficult to manipulate from pocket to deployed firmly in hand with one hand, so I wouldn't count on this as a defensive weapon unless you had a second to deploy it hands-free.

Best pocket knife I’ve ever owned
I’ve owned other Kershaw pocket knives, but this is my favorite. Not only does it look cool and have a sharp blade, but it’s easy to unfold the blade with your palm in the karambit reverse-grip position.

Quickly becoming my favorite knife
I thought this was smaller when I ordered it. I wanted something small to replace my Spyderco Ladybug. The Spyderco does not have the flipper and does not freak people out when I use it in public. Women have walked up and asked where I got the cute yellow knife... My glove size is large. The Kershaw handle will accommodate larger hands. The ring is exceeding comfortable. I have a few karambits. Their rings were too snug or required fitting. This one is good out of the box. Extremely sharp, well made and holds an edge. Yes, it takes a while to figure out how to open like a traditional karambit, but it can be done. I can do so in either hand. My only wish was that this knife was 25% smaller for everyday use. It's quickly becoming my favorite knife. I will purchase another one.
