This is the best hitch ever! It is so sturdy, and I didn’t even get the most heavy duty one that Bulletproof sells. I bought a couple of small locks from Menards, and a Bolt hitch lock from Amazon that uses my truck key to unlock it so that there is very little chance of any part of the hitch being stolen. I tow a trailer every day for work, and frequently need to switch ball sizes which this hitch makes a breeze. And if you’re on the edge about getting it, just do it! Even if you don’t tow that much it looks sweet! I leave mine on my truck all the time because it looks awesome and will sure provide my bumper a little protection if I were to get rear ended. It will also help keep people from walking too close to your vehicle, and if they do, they’ll have a nice surprise right at their shin.Conclusion: Just buy one already!!Bulletproof also offers lots of other cool accessories for it like a pintle hitch, step, shackle and more!

Awesome Hitch. The main thing that bugs me is the pins in a way cannot be secured. I looked for longer pins they sell which have the key lock part attached to it, but could not find any. They may be out there, i had no luck. So the way i worked around it is i found some master locks big (and small) enough to go through the pin hole where the cotter pin would. It works. Could someone cut them off, sure....and if they feel that need all they can get is the reversible ball mounts anyway. Overall great product and worth it being a drop hitch. We haul a 22’ boat and occasionally a travel trailer.
