Why the measurement units not start from 0?The tape measure starts at 1 3/4'' to account for the curved portion of the tape housing that is included when tracking measurement.This tape is accurate and easy to use.1.By pressing the button in the center,pull the end of the tape around the body part you wish to measure. 2.Lock the rod at the end of the tape forming a circular tape wrapping the body part. 3.Press the button in the center,and let the tape retract to fit snuggly on your body. Finally,you have your measurement,read and record the measurement on the tape to see the size of that body part.

Great for Gym-Addicts!
Years ago, when I was first really getting into the gym, I bought a "weightlifting tape measure" at a sports store for approximately triple the price of this. It wasn't higher quality; in fact, it was basically the same thing, only painted a different color. There is a slight problem with this one, though: the part where the tape hooks in is a little too small, meaning it can fall out when you try to use it (you'll see what I mean once you actually try to use it). A very cheap, simple solution: put a few pieces of tape on the end of the tape measure, so it fits more snugly. Problem solved.

They come with "Your text here"
Unless you order like 2500 of them they come with "Your text here". I had to purchase stickers to put over the "Your text here" before giving them away. Not the best little gadget. They are sorta tacky. Always afraid the tape measure is not going to go back in everytime I use it. We gave them away to our Physical Therapists as a gift for Physical Therapy month in October and several therapists have told me theirs has already broken. The tape measure won't go back in. Was not happy with them at all. Will not purchase again or suggest to anyone.
