Perixx PERIBOARD-317 Wired Backlit Keyboard, Big Print Keys w/ White LED, US English Layout, Black
Perixx PERIBOARD-317 Wired Backlit USB Keyboard, Big Print Letter with White Illuminated LED, US English Layout, Black. A Nice, Reasonably Priced Wired Full Sized Keyboard with Big Print Letters with Backlit White LED Illuminated Keys. A different Model of this Keyboard comes with Multiple Backlit Colors. This Keyboard is Functionable, is Easy to Type with, and has a Comfortable Feel when Typing. I think that it will be at least Reasonably Durable. Being Wired - all You have to do is to Plug the Keyboards USB-A Cable into a USB Port on Your Computer or Laptop. No Need to Link - Pair - or Anything Like that.

Excellent keyboard
Excellent keyboard, backlit for each key was perfect, able to see, even with a poor eyesight at night.

Okay keyboard. Works fine.
I've had the keyboard about 3 weeks and it works okay. Not great but okay. The oversized letters are great! Backlight works good. My biggest issue is that when the backlight is OFF, the button to turn it ON is also off and can't be seen. You would assume that the button to toggle the backlight On and Off would be illuminated when off so that it's easily identifiable. Go figure. Might return for a better quality product.

Inobtrusive backlighted keyboard
Great for streaming movies at my desk where the monitor makes an unlighted keyboard invisible due to the monitor light. I didn't need one of these until I got a large LED monitor for streaming, and this one is a welcome improvement. The backlight isn't too bright, the keycaps are black and the characters are lighted, so no intereference is caused by the keyboard lighting. Good feel for a membrane keyboard, almost as crisp as an old style clicky type. I like this one.

great keyboard
Love this keyboard, keys feel great and love the lighted keyboard, can enter my passcode to windows without turning off on a light, which works great when I can't sleep and get up at night.

Mixed feelings on this one
I bought this keyboard a little over 2 years ago. At the time, my biggest concern was how long it would take for the paint to wear off the keys I used most frequently. Let me detail my experience up to date: First, I like the keyboard over all. The size and shape is really good. I am not a large keyboard fan, nor do I like a keyboard that is too small. This one is just right. Second, the layout is fine for the most part. Everything is where you would expect it to be. Nothing shifted out of place to make space or to reduce space. Third, while the paint on the keys was a big concern, ironically, the pain has help up really well on all the keys, especially the arrow keys which I probably use the most. The only real point of wear is where I anchor my ring finger when using the arrow keys. Next, I will address the infamous "overspray." Yes, there is some overspray on the keys where some of the black paint goes into the lighted area around the keys. Its hard to explain but completely obvious when you see it. Anyway, before I bought this keyboard I read a lot of reviews on it and there were several people complaining about the overspray. Honestly, who gives a crap. Its a minor thing that some people made into a major thing because they are snobs about it being perfect. Like I said, who cares. Does it work? Yes. Does it light up as expected? Yes. Good enough for the price which was about $17 in 2022. The overspray does not affect the functionality of the keyboard nor does it interfere with the lighting of the keys. Get over it people. Lastly, I want to address longevity. The reason I am actually making this review is because here I am 2 years later and I am starting to have trouble with some of the keys not working. In my case, three of the four arrow keys. The down, left and right keys are becoming intermittent and sometimes do not work at all. I cannot track down why exactly these three keys are giving me trouble, but as mentioned, the arrow keys are the keys I tend to use the most, so I can only conclude that they wear out over time. This is disappointing. I have ordered another and will see how it holds out. I hope it fairs better than 2 years like I got out of this one; especially since the price has gone up a bit.

My new favorite lighted keyboard
I bought this lighted keyboard as a replacement. The replaced keyboard was made by a different manufacturer and had some nice features like multi-colors, but it didn't last: 6 months of daily use and some keys were sticking so bad it became unusable. I like the Perixx keyboard, especially the raised lighted keys which have a nice feel when depressed. The keys are lit along the sides and on the top. I've had a keyboard like this before (different manufacturer) where the top surface of the keys eventually wears down and the lettering becomes smeared, but that was after more than a year of heavy use and only on the most used keys. Overall, I give this keyboard 5 stars for functionality and value.

Getting worse. Bright keys, but turning off the LED's not working.
UPDATE! So I received this keyboard on 9/28 and today 10/10 I needed to go into my workstation PC's setup but no, I come to find out the ESCAPE key is DEAD and computer setup is not available! Initially I thought my computer went nuts and after a few reboots given that other buyers had experiences with dead keys, it dawned on me that the ESCAPE key MUST be dead. I installed my old keyboard and yup the new keyboard's key is dead as well as the ScrLk key. How does Amazon allow sellers of inferior products to sell here??? Original post. I have bought number of RGB backlit keyboards and all had the same problems, with the room lights on the key characters were hard to see, and with the backlight turned on the LED's were too dim and they wound up at a thrift store. This one arrived today and it lit up like the Empire State building and with the computer turned off the LARGE lettered keys are easily seen. The problem is the ScrLk key does not function as a scroll lock, and in combination with the A key does not extinguish the backlit LED's. The other issue is that many of the key markings are missing, though they actually work as designed. Number keypad missing markings in ( ): 0- (ins), Period-(del), 1-(END), 2-(line down), 3-(page down), 4(char left), 6(char right), 7(home), 8-(line up), 9-(Page up) With over 40 years of PC history behind us leaving things off a keyboard is not good.
