High Quality Stand
Needing more desk space I’ve been considering this desk for a while now but didn’t want to buy it because of the price. There are cheaper printer stands out there, but this is one of the few that matches my desk’s size and finish. I ended up buying it this Christmas when my wife told me to order it for myself as a present. Like most pieces of utility furniture you buy these days this stand arrives unassembled. I’m sure most of you have had some experience with desks and bookshelves that have anywhere from 6 to a dozen assembly steps detailed with poorly written/translated assembly instructions. This printer stand is not like that. It comes in six main pieces: the four legs, the top of the desk and the lower shelf. I didn’t have to assemble the sliding drawer – it was already assembled and installed in its place. All I had to do was attach the four legs, push in four pegs for the shelf and install the drawer knob. The hardware includes a wrench for attaching the legs. It does the job, but I wanted to use something better. Funny thing is that it took longer for me to find my tools than it did to put the stand together. On to the quality – when I had a look at the pieces I understood the price. This is not laminated particleboard or MDF material. This is solid wood construction. The stand is sturdy, everything lined up perfectly during assembly, and it has a nice finish. If they make a desk the same size as what I have now I’d seriously consider ordering one of those as well.

WOW! Fantastic Quality! Great Value!
It arrived in perfect condition! Quality construction. Easy assembly. I only referred to the instructions once (to confirm which legs were for the front-left and right) but the overall assembly was so simple that a 10-year-old could manage it. Small tightening wrench was included. Only needed a small Phillips screwdriver to attach the drawer knob. --- Not a single scrap of MDF or pressboard or particle-board. It is indeed SOLID WOOD through and through. We are VERY PLEASED with this purchase. The only thing we added were self-adhesive, 1" diameter felt pads on the bottom of each leg. (Wood-legs on wood-floors is not a good combination.) The base shelf is removable and rests on four metal "shelf-pins" that are inserted into each leg. Even though the center of the shelf is 1/8" plywood, the side (framing) pieces are solid wood, and it's sturdy enough to hold a small (12-bottle) Wine Enthusiast wine-bottle cooler. Only one minor improvement could have been made. And this is a nit-picky criticism on my part... the plywood base was attached to the solid-wood frame with tiny finishing nails that were "hammered-in" with a nail-gun. Each nail was perfectly positioned, but the head of each nail is below the surface level of the wood. --- This "defect" in workmanship is only due to the assembly-line nature of this type of furniture and would only bother the most critical person. For our purposes, the wine cooler that we've placed on the bottom shelf completely hides the nail heads, so I'm not worried about it. However, if we were using this table for any other purpose, I'd get some matching Minwax wood filler putty and dab it into the small nail-head holes. Again, they're so small that the only person who's likely to notice is YOU (but only because you put it together)... but from a normal viewing distance, NOBODY else would notice. We anticipate needing other small tables and cases for our home, and the Winsome brand will be our FIRST choice when shopping again.

Beautiful and sturdy...instructions need work though
Very sturdy and REAL wood all the way around. Even the drawer bottom is real wood, albeit relatively thin. I am extremely happy. Shipping was ultra fast. The table went together without any issues. The price paid was more than fair considering it is real wood and looks great. Finish is quite nice and resembles pine to an extent. My table arrived with no damage. The instructions could have been more clear, however. It is a one page mish-mash that you need to study for a bit in order to get the overall gist of the assembly process. Do pay attention to the fact that the legs are NOT identical and there are two C1s and two C2s and this has to do with the holes for the metal dowels that hold the lower shelf into place. It is very easy to build it so that you cannot mount that shelf because the holes are not on the correct side of the legs.

Functional and Esthetically Pleasing
Wood Printer Stand with Drawer and Shelf by Winsome This Winsome wood printer stand is both functional and esthetically pleasing. It holds my wife’s Epson WF-320 printer with ease and it matches her desk and file cabinet. Positives: 1. Classic functional printer stand. 2. Provides drawer for ink supplies and a shelf for paper. 3. Esthetically pleasing. 4. Sturdy. Solid beechwood with honey finish. 5. Space saver yet large enough for most printers. 6. Good value at this price. 7. It was much easier to shop online for what I needed versus going to furniture stores. Negatives: 1. Reasonably easy to assemble but not a cake walk either. The legs are not interchangeable so must make sure to identify the front legs versus the back legs. 2. The overall quality of the stand is very good the shelf is the weakest link however. In summary, my wife likes her printer table. It looks good and it gets the job done. After wasting so much time in furniture stores it was refreshing to find the right piece online and for the right price. Get it!

Sturdy, functional, and solid.
Sturdy, functional, and solid. Matches other Winsome studio office furniture with honey finish. I now have five pieces of this series of furniture, and have been very happy with them. They are not fine furniture, but have some nice design features like slightly tapered legs and beveled edges to the tops. Sort of mid-century school library with a style that will not look out of place in many homes. Winsome also has an arts and crafts style series of furniture that I like, but they weren't the best fit for my current location. This table and other pieces in this series are nicely finished. The honey finish is just right for my taste - not too dark, but also doesn't look like unfinished wood. The finish is fine on the exposed sides of the furniture, although a little less satiny on unexposed surfaces. The construction is almost all solid wood. Rather than large boards, some have been boards have been joined from smaller boards - but still solid. The drawer bottoms are not wood - probably for the best. On this piece, the drawer runs on a wooden guide, a little sticky, but similar to some vintage furniture that I own. The drawer is smallish, but useful, for example, for small ink cartridges, extra cables, and a box of paperclips (have the Winsome drawer/file cabinet for bigger items). Was very easy to assemble - I like that it uses real screws and bolts. All in all, a nice appearance, sturdy, functional, and a great value for money.

Maybe I just got lucky, but this is a great item
Count me among the happy customers. My printer stand arrived in great shape, went together easily with straight lines and all correct holes and parts, and looks great with the matching computer desk. The two items are put together nearly the same way, making the second one even easier to assemble. Just use the picture to pay attention to which legs go where. Also, when you're putting on each leg, the last few turns of the (included) wrench can hurt your hand. I used the wrench from the table assembly and some pliers to buffer my hand from the wrench handle's thin edge, or you could use your own small wrench. You'll need a smallish Phillips head screwdriver for the drawer knob. It's true that the shelf does not have a lip, and the wood in the center of the shelf is rougher than the rest, with some raggedy edges where it meets the shelf frame. I could sand it down a little, but I don't expect to be running my fingers over that seam very often. The drawer of the printer stand is the right size for standard 8 1/2" x 11" copy paper, and you could probably fit a ream of paper in there. When the stars align as they did in my case, this product is great-looking, well-made, affordable, and user-friendly. It's possible the company has gotten its act together, or maybe they have multiple sources of their products. If you're interested in this product, it's worth a try. However, unless you're in a hurry, maybe keep an eye on the price. I bought mine about ten days ago for $75 and the price has since jumped by about $12; perhaps it will go back down.

Overall adequately good.
Overall decent product but don't expect a super high quality piece of furniture. It is probably made in some factory in China. I purchased two of these; the first one came with no defect but the second one had some defects. I couldn't even open the drawer! I got a replacement from Amazon which was better but still had some defects. I decided not to go for another round of return when Amazon instead offered a partial refund. So make sure you get a decent return policy when buying this.

Yet another Warehouse Deal
I was looking for a printer table but aghast at the prices of even cheap and rickety ones. This one, however, even at full price makes a sturdy table for many uses. The drawer is a little fiddly, though, you need to pull it straight out and tip it down to fully open, and tilt back up and in to close it again. Still, at least it opens enough to be useful. Very happy with my purchase.
