Bought for my son, he's eight and was able to all the steps except for the tiny screw clamps holding the axles in place. Turned out great too, and lots of fun to play with. We did have to redo some steps - around step 12 or 13 it shows the arm angled downward and back, so we copied the picture. But suddenly a few steps later the arm segments are parallel to the floor and perpendicular to each other, which is the correct way. So I'd recommend looking ahead on the instructions before building. Other than that, an awesome kit.

i purchased two different models - little disappointed that some of the threads were bad in one of the motors and one in the main battery/wire box - but the end product was still sturdy - i like that one remote works with either model - both kits also had extra parts - you'd expect extra nuts and bolts here and there but one kit had an extra drive motor (unfortunately, not the same as the motor with the bad threads) and the other kit had an entire grabber unit - seems like these would be the expensive parts of the kit - a little better quality control in the packaging department may make these kits a little less expensive - overall, it's a nice project and i'd purchase another kit

Bought this as a gift. One 21cm wire was missing and one of the motors didn't work. Since my son really wanted this one, I bought a second one, intending to return the first. But the second set was missing a part too.. so while I was able to put one functional arm from two sets, and return the other set, its disappointing that there is such poor quality control for such an expensive toy.

Now I may be an adult but just a kid inside. This is so cool and the manual is like advanced Legos. It can be a little confusing. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a pich control on the claw but other than that its an amazing toy.

We bought two of these robot arms for a kid's camp, and after 2 hours of assembling it, we notice that one of them the battery is not working at all the other one the power supply is not working.this is very frustrating and I cant see a way to contact support. Hopefully, they can send me these parts asap.
