I had a slight quality control issue with one of the four items. The handle would not stand up without falling over but after running it through the dishwasher, the handle just barely remains standing up. The seller included an information card in the package in case of any problems but I don't want the hassle over a minor issue. Also, I would prefer to have a round one a little smaller so the egg would fit an English muffin. On the positive side, it's big enough to hold 2 large eggs. It would also work better if they were a little heavier because my eggs leak a little under the edges. Overall, I am pleased with the product and the price.

After reading reviews and realizing a flat bottom pan was key to prevent leaks, we went one step further to ensure no leaks. We sprayed a generous amount of cooking oil onto a hot pan, pressed the mold firmly into the pan, ensuring the bottom of the mold contacted the oil, then dropped in the egg. Even though the pan was not perfectly flat, this method worked great to prevent leaks and give us perfectly cooked round eggs for our egg sandwiches. I imagine some butter in the pan would do the trick also. The molds works fine and cleanup is a snap.

I purchased something like this long ago and everything stuck to it and was impossible to clean so I threw them away. THIS product is excellent! Dishwasher safe, nothing sticks! I have learned over the years to NOT use nonstick cooking spray (Pam) because it leaves a gluey residue that is very hard to remove from cookware. Now I use oil or butter but the most nonstick is butter. I unwrap half the stick and swirl it lightly around the inside of the egg mold. No sticking of the egg, no weird residue. Easy peasy! Homemade Mc Muffin style sandwiches, pancakes or omelet sandwiches quickly!
