This was worth a try, but im no phone tech.
I thought I'd try my hand at fixing my own screen, I got this kit, and watched countless videos and read lots of articles. Let me be frank.. You're going to fork it up. I failed right from jump. I know what I did wrong, but it's so easy to mess up that I'd probably do the exact same thing again and again. Heating the phone up.. easy.. using the thin metal slimjim like thing.. easy.. distinguishing the layer of glass from the layer of digitizer.. not so easy.. I went under too far, and when I didn't see the tool appear after the black border goes clear.. I knew I done did messed up.. lol. It was just a little section, but it was fatal. A new digitizer is approximately $150, and that's about what a certified refurbished S9+ runs. So I went the easier route. It was definitely worth a try, but I done did went and broked it. This is an interesting process to say the least, and if you can do it.. You're either lucky, or extremely good with your hands. iF you're reading this review because you're unsure if you should attempt.. think of it like this: you'll never know unless you try, but if it's that important to you.. let a professional do it.

DON'T BUY. The fit is imprecise which leads to a screen cracked worst than the original.
Don't buy this. Look at the photo. The screen is glass and a lot different than manufacturer's, very fragile, and the size is not exact which leads to shattered replacement.

Don’t buy this if your s10 screen is just cracked and you want to fix it yourself
Don’t buy this if your s10 screen is just cracked and you want to fix it yourself. The LCD is attached to the screen. To separate them you need a machine that you do not have. You need to buy an LCD with it too, or just take it to a tech shop. You will not be able to fix your screen on your own with this. Take it to a professional.

Removing cover not easy
I have a Galaxy S9, local cell phone repair shop here wanted $275 to fix the screen and possibly touch. I am not emotionally attached to the phone for $275 and plus it's 4 years old. I figured I'd start here on my own for 30 bucks. Here's my review. Heating and removing the screen was not difficult but it took a little bit of time to get the razor and the pry tool working. Major Problem... is if you don't understand the difference between the cover layer and a touch screen layer it's a wrap!! which I immediately noticed. I could probably do it if I had another phone but I will stay in my lane from now on.Not discouraging anyone from trying you might have better luck than me. On that note good luck!
