I bought this lunch box 2 years ago, and it has not disappointed. I have used many different lunchboxes over the years ranging from stuffing tupperware in a bag to 'nifty' boxes with plastic dividers to keep everything contained. The overriding issue with them all is that they do not hold up to long-term use. Plastic warps, cracks, stains, and becomes very brittle after repeated use. Lids split in half trying to open them,etc., etc. My husband and I use these daily, and so we are tough on them. We've now been using two of these for over 2 years, and they still look brand new. The glass is very thick and sturdy and the lid seems to be top-quality. It has a rubber seal that really does keep things from leaking between sections in the glass. We remove the rubber seal and hand wash the lid, and throw the glass bottom in the dish washer. No problems. I was even skeptical about the rubber seal stretching out over time, but it's not a flat seal like you usually see. It's made 3 dimensional and holds it's shape very well. These things are fabulous, so I may have to get a few more just because I'm so pleased with them.

I was tired of using plastic bentos, this is making the difference because of the ease of use and clean, no more detergent smell, lid is very easy to close, meal preparation is easy as it has a lotbof room, its a little heavy butbthatvis not an issue for me.

I was put off by the price at first thinking "some glass with a plastic lid for $20?", but this is probably the best glass lunch container you can get. It is quality. It's deep enough to fit a lot of food, fits in a 14-16L lunchbox, and the lid seals the 3 sections off so any liquidy food is not spilling over. And of course, because it's glass, you don't have to worry about melting plastic and discoloration when microwaving (also oven safe, sans lid).After using it for a few days at work, I'm very satisfied and would buy it again if I happen to break it.

I seriously love my new glass Bento(go) lunch and plan to keep it around for a long time and use it for all my lunches to save on money.I truly do recommend this type of Bento(go) Glass Lunch box to anyone who doesn't like eating out of plastic containers like me. Being a HUGE fan of Japanese cuisine and cooking I have tried a few different types of bento from plastic, metal and even wood and I was not happy with the results of it at them at all. I finally found this wonderful glass bento(go) box that makes the food taste better and does last longer too. You can heat it up in a microwave to reheat your food and it ends up tasting just like it would if you just took the food right out of the oven or off the stove-top.This is literally the best glass bento box you could have.Tips: Wash it using a non-abrasive sponge with soap and warm water to avoid any scratch marks on it. If you are into Japanese culture I would recommend getting a furoshiki a traditional Japanese wrapping cloths to wrap your glass bento(go) box in as the softness from the cloth prevents any scratches to it's surface and makes it easier to carry as well. I recommend getting a furoshiki that is at least 48 cm to 70 cm long to make sure you have enough fabric to cover your lovely glass bento.This glass bento box can really help you improve on your creativity when you are cooking.

I really like to put my lunch in this. The compartments are a great feature. It does leak in between compartments though. I also find it a little bit heavy but that is probably because it’s made of glass.

Love this glass bowl, perfect for taking lunch to work, bowl might be a bit heavy for some, but I personally love it!!!

I wanted to love these due to the size, being well made, great price, however after only using for less than a month, one lid does not snap on fully anymore and one container with lid actually leaks, I contacted company so I hope to hear from them soon.

Excellent product

I have used this for last 2 months as a lunch box along with the other bentgo salad bowl.I have no complaints with the quality or make , only pain with it is they are not light weight, which is expected when you have a strong build quality. They are easy to clean due to smooth edges. I will definitely recommend this.

It is very heavy

I expected this to be high quality due to the price, but the side of the lid (locking clip) cracked after only two uses. Now it won't snap shut on that side. I only hand-washed it as well, so there's no reason for that to have happened.
