Both my wife and I are keen amateur photographers but over the years have ended up with a range of equipment from different manufacturers some of which isn't compatible. A case in point was our tripod mounts which frustratingly were a mix of standards. So, having reached a point where we have learned enough to understand what we need we decided to ensure everything was compatible and use Arca-Swiss standard mounts.And... of course when I bought various clamps to swap out I found that the threads were different.. Grr. However, when I got this to review I twigged that this solves the issues. You can used this set of threaded adaptors to pretty much connect any photography threaded fittings to each other. Basically 3/8" and 1/4" NPT.And now? All of our tripod mounted systems are fully compatible so I can use my wife's gear and she mine without risking a meltdown when I drag a heavy bit of kit two miles up a beach only to discover I've not fitted the right base plate....

Work like a charm with no issues.
