Very good quality bread lame. You can see this gadget in use when making breads as part of the cooking demonstrations that I post to my YouTube channel called POV Italian Cooking.

This bread lame is having a huge design issue. The razor kept sliding out when attempting to score the dough. It's completely useless and is a waste of money.

I couldn't make good cuts due to not being able to get precise control of the blade. There was a lot drag in my cuts. Installation was also dangerous.

Excellent piece of equipment!

This has a good use for bread scoring, and I love it for making bread, but I worry often about safety of this tool as I like to bake with my daughter and she has some impulse control issues at time. That's a bit risky in my book, and therefore this only comes out when I know she can handle it, so do take caution with kids. They are not kidding when they say this is a razor on a handle. it is sharper than a normal kitchen knife, unless you keep yours razor sharp all the time. I do love that this can be placed back in a small case for easy and SAFE storage. That is absolutely key in my book. there is no other way I would keep this, but in a case and on a high shelf. Good all in all, but definitely a dangerous kitchen tool. You really do know this in advance, though. Be careful and enjoy professional looking baguettes, etc! Of course this all depends on whether or not you can bake bread, but that's a whole different story!

Fantastic sourdough tool. I absolutely love the style and the sweet case it comes in and it works like a charm.

This bread lame is hazardous. The design is faulty where the razor flew off and didn't hold in place while I was scoring my dough. It almost cut my face. The metal part of the lame is flimsy which I think contributes to the bad design. Beware.
