Great product, it actually works, our partially blind cat struggles to find her way home, went missing in the dark and rain, she was out of range, so got in the car and drove around, it picked her up on a new housing estate in a back garden, had to knock on the door, but they were very good and we found her sheltering under a bush, very wet and feeling sorry for herself. It will also pick up signal through a house wall, thought she had got out, but took me back inside to where she was hiding behind my bed, so good if they get shut in a garage or shed. The collar lights up in the dark and it does beep, but not very loudly. Only one thing for improvement would be supplying spare batteries. Make sure you have back up ones, good quality, as the cheap ones won't last and a long search will drain the one in the remote. The small collar battery as well, but that lasts a lot longer, I keep changing mine though just in case, as obviously nothing will work otherwise, or you can just keep testing it now and then. She has managed to get her collar off couple of times, but you can find that with the tracker, mine was stuck in the hedge. The tabcat is small, lightweight and doesn't bother her at all, definately waterproof with the cover supplied and all in all can't fault it. 100% better than the gps tracker I tried, that kept losing signal, then when you got to the pinpoint, she wasn't there, actually was three gardens away. The range is good, but if out of range, it will still keep searching for a signal, so don't give up, just keep walking or driving around....

We ordered this for our female cat who goes wondering for up to 36 hours. It was fairly easy to set up although getting the tab into the plastic holder which attaches it to the cat's collar can be quite a challenge. Lucily our cat makes no objection to it being around her neck. The direction finding is really good once the can is in range to be picked up. What i found really irritating was that it stops after only about 40 seconds and has to be re set. The Range of the Tabcat is quite variable but it does pick up the tab on the cat's collar when she is in the average size gardens of some of our neighbours. However for one particular house which has a very large garden it does not pick her up. Overall though it does what it says and is well made.

We bought this as one of our cats had lost a leg and wanted a bit of confidence that we could find him if he got into trouble. We fitted one each to both cats and they fitted on the collar fine. However one of the cats lost its collar on day 2 in the brambles of next door and although that wasn't the tags fault we have not been able to get a signal to be able to trace it and although the one legged cat still has his, you can only pick up a signal if he's 10 feet away, beyond that it's pretty useless. Alot of money for something that doesn't do what it says it can.

Bought this in January 2023 worked very well but is not working now in May. Could be something easily fixed? phoned the tel no. But couldnt get through so emailed them and had reply back following day but I had already spoken to Amazon who asked me to send it back & issued refund. If you purchase this please make sure that both tabs are working as I left the spare one in the box unused & when the other stopped working I tried to activate the spare but it didnt work, didnt light up or connect to device and the 30 days to return had lapsed. Should have checked both when they arrived! Having said that you do get a 2 year guarantee. Wish I had done some tests on it with the company who emailed me back but had already sent it back to Amazon, would be nice to know what the issue was? Bit disappointed the spare tab didnt work. I now have a gps tracker for my little furry man. purchased via Amazon. 🙂👍

This is a fantastic tracker and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Our Siamese has lost her collar three times so far and the tracker has enabled me to find it easily. It gives me peace of mind when she’s out and I’ve taught her to come home when her tab beeps. I offered her a cat treat when she returned and she soon got the idea. It’s small enough to use on a kitten - she was about six months old when she started wearing hers and she doesn’t seem to notice she’s wearing it.

The product does work but the range is so limited it is practically useless. Any solid object will prevent detection be that bushes, walls, fences etc. My cat managed to lose it's collar along with the tabcat device. No problem I thought I'll just locate it with the control unit. I have wandered all over the neigbourhood and have yet to pick up a signal. Can't really recommend this product for urban use.

Even for a kitten the tag in the collar is tiny and has decent range 200-300ft. The handset is the size of a credit card and fits into a top pocket. This is useful for checking your cat is round and about using the audible alert, and the directional audible and visual alerts work perfectly when tracking. When in range the collar tag emits a tiny beep and has a flashing led which I think helps train your pet to return. More pricey than gps types but high quality and well worth it.

Tras un mes de uso, puedo decir que es una maravilla. Tengo dos gatos, los cuales han pasado de vivir en un piso a vivir en una casa con jardín. Estos aparatos sirven muy bien para encontrarlos perfectamente tanto dentro de casa como fuera. No tienen tanto alcance como un GPS, pero definitivamente, la precisión, la duración de la batería, lo cómodo y pequeño que es para el gato y la facilidad de uso para cualquiera, además de la NO necesidad de suscripción y de sim, le dan mil vueltas a los GPS que hay disponibles, a menos a día de hoy, para gatos. De momento, ningún problema técnico ni de ningún tipo. Veremos más adelante.

Istruzioni nella scatola in lingua INGLESE, TEDESCO, SPAGNOLO, FRANCESE. Dopo aver studiato tutte le proposte commerciali di tracker radio, GPS o altra tecnologia, ho scelto questo prodotto. E' la scelta migliore per gatti che vivono in casa e fanno piccoli giri in giardini molto grandi o negli immediati dintorni di casa, poichè il range del segnale radio arriva fino a 150 m (che diventa inferiore in mezzo ad ostacoli architettonici). Consiglio di tenere i gatti costantemente monitorati nelle eventuali piccole uscite. Il tag (ricevitore piccolo gatto) da inserire nel suo case di silicone, è il più piccolo disponibile tra i produttori di qualità europei (UK, in questo caso). Metto foto col contenuto della confezione, che sarebbe: - scatola della dimensione di un libro, che fa da comoda custodia del kit; - libretto istruzioni che spiega tutto con chiare immagini - non entro nel dettaglio tecnico perchè nella guida che arriva c'è tutto e non ci si può sbagliare; - 2 ricevitori per collare - per 2 gatti o per ricambio; - 2 case in siliconi con i passanti per il collare che rendono il ricevitore impermeabile in caso di pioggia e umidità. Colori: uno bianco e uno azzurro; - ricevitore radio grande ("telecomando") per localizzare il gatto. Emette suoni e luci che guidano alla localizzazione. Si possono collegare al telecomando fino a 4 ricevitori/gatti - con i relativi pulsanti. NELLA FOTO non vedete 1 ricevitore ed il case azzurro perchè sono in uso. Non lo consiglio in quei casi in cui si permette al gatto di allontanarsi di molto anche se non si è in casa. Qui è meglio optare per i ricevitori GPS di altri brand con abbonamento mensile (a pagamento) per la tracciatura. Personalmente ritengo che sia comunque troppo pericoloso lasciar girovagare il nostro gatto fuori da casa, sia per la sicurezza del nostro stesso compagno peloso, che quella della vita selvatica (uccellini, piccoli mammiferi selvatici, ecc. - tutti importanti per la biodiversità dei nostri territori). Attenzione a non lasciare i case di silicone a portata di gatto, perchè qualcuno potrebbe divertirsi a giocarci e morderlo! :-) Nella foto, Olga, col suo case smangiucchiato ma perfettamente funzionante!

Très facile d'utilisation et de compréhension, très léger et compact, mais nous avons été déçus par la portée réelle du dispositif, qui n'est pas de 150m. Ne fonctionne vraiment qu'avec un terrain sans aucun obstacle.

TOP ! Remplace le Loc8tor et est parfait pour un chat qui ne se ballade que dans le jardin et qui se cache dans une maison juste au moment où il faut justement l'attraper ! on le retrouve dans sa planque en 3 mn. La balise bipe au niveau de son collier et le chat sait qu'on l'appelle... bien éduqué avec ce système, il revient tout seul. Par contre, le nouvel étui en silicone pas du tout souple devient un ennemi à combattre pour y faire entrer la balise ! 2 mn pour mettre en marche le système, une 1/2 heure pour faire entrer la balise dans son étui : le dos plat d'une petite cuillère m'a sauvée.. ou bien il faut avoir des ongles longs

Works well for our very tiny cat. Unfortunately you cannot disable the beep from the chip itself, but I have cut the wires inside which solved that issue. This way our cat is not disturbed by any sound. It works for about 100 meters in an open field, but only 20 or so meters in areas with a lot of walls or houses.
