Is this pole safe for suspended ceilings?

No, it needs a solid structure at the top and bottom.

how is the top cover piece supposed to look? it is spinning even though my pole is in static mode. how do i fix ?

My ceiling is just over 9 ft, will this size pole adjust to higher than 9?

Dear Customer, Sorry that you have to buy additional extension(the extensions are generic so you can order other seller's extensions) to adjust to higher than 9ft.
