Cost effective batteries; superior charger
The Neewer LP-E6 LP-E6N Replacement Rechargeable Battery Charging Set comes with the USB powered charging base and two Neewer branded LP-E6N batteries. The charging base is superior to the canon original charger in two ways - firstly its smaller and then its that you can put two batteries on it. It doesn't charge two at once; but you can leave two batteries charging overnight and come back to two in the morning. It has worked with the included batteries and the canon original's I have. That its USB powered also makes for a superior travel charger for me; as I have tried to get as much as possible charging over USB so that a single USB power pack can do multi duty overnight - and save the space of a UK multi gang adaptor. The neewer batteries don't die in 5 minutes; but they definitely don't last as long as the canon original packs. Unless you take thousands of shots on an EOS-r (battery eating being a characteristic of the mirrorless canon) then two is likely going to last you a day. I have taken 4-500 shots on my R with the two neewer batteries and had half a battery charge to spare at the end of the day. I tend to travel with a lot of batteries though as the E6N style batteries are also a fixture in a number of my accessories; and it is with those accessories that the these batteries have found their best niche. At half the price of one canon original battery; using these in my slider and other accessories has proven very cost effective way to get to 10 batteries in my bag.

Works well with Canon R5
I've done a little comparison of some different batteries and the R5. Not scientific at all but some stats for battery life etc as I use the camera. The camera seems happy with the Neewer batteries and does not give an error about non-genuine batteries (unlike my 5DsR). Right a bit of background of how the R5 uses a battery and its frame rate. If you set the camera to high speed continuous+ (green H+ icon) it has 3 modes - A, B and C which are dependant on how much charge is in the battery. Mode A (green H+) can achieve up to 12fps, mode B (white H+) can achieve up to 9.2fps and mode C (blinking white H+) can achieve 6.8 fps. As a battery runs down the frame rate will move to the next lowest mode at certain percentages of battery power that's left. This is where I've tried to find out at what point different batteries change mode. Now the numbers. Canon LP-E6N battery (2+ years old) - Mode A works till the battery is at 46% (282 shots), Mode B then continues down to at least 5% (total 431 shots) I then had to change battery. Never reached Mode C. Canon LP-E6NH (1 month old) - Mode A works till the battery is at 38% (399 shots), Mode B then continues down to at least 5% (total 462 shots) I then had to change the battery. Never reached Mode C. Neewer LP-E6NH (2 weeks old) - Mode A works till the battery is at 75% (150 shots), Mode B then continues down to at least 5% (total 420 shots) I then had to change the battery. Never reached Mode C. Obviously the genuine Canon NH battery is best but most expensive. The Neewer has less overall shots than old Canon N batteries but not by much and this test was all just based on one use of each battery. They may even out a bit more when averaged. Anyway, if you need 12fps for the longest time then you have to get the genuine Canon NH battery. If 12fps for the first quarter and then 9fps for the rest of the battery is good enough then the Neewer batteries are awesome value for money. Personally I don't have a problem with the slightly reduced fps compared to spending £150 on a single Canon battery. Of course if you go on to electronic shutter then you get 20fps at any battery percentage. Hope that helps.

Works fine with provided bateries, but glitches with Canon ones
The charger works fine with the 3 batteries that came with it, but I've tried it with a canon LP-E6NH (genuine) battery and twice it seems to stop charging partway through. Thant aside it works well, and makes it a lot easier to charge multiple batteries at once and will save space travelling.

Work fine
Work great with a canon R6ii… to date had no issues at all with them work fine and holds charge even after being stored in the bag for a while. I have heard that people do say that generally the charge doesn't last as long as with the canon battery but this isn't my experience but at three batteries and a charger for around £50 less than one official canon battery you can always have one fully charged and ready for use

These batteries appear to be unable to deliver a solid voltage enough to power full mechanical shutter on the Canon EOS R5, they randomly cause the camera to freeze and lock up which forces you to pull the battery and reinsert it. They can cause write errors on the CFExpress card because of the output voltage is so low and variates a lot, and that' bad news. Too bad i wasted more than 60 euros on these batteries. :(

3 batteries for such price? Yes. Also charger for them. Note that power supply can be Micro USB or USB-C. Working also with USB-C PD cable/power supply. All 3 batteries were recognized by camera (Canon R7) as LP-E6NH battery. All OK.

Good alternatives to the OEM batteries. Last about the same, no issues, can also be charged in the OEM charger. Buy more as needed.

Peut être moins performant que les batteries officiel de mon appareil photo, mais grâce à la possibilité de les recharges avec une batterie externe, c'est comme si j'avais 6 batterie au lieu de 3
