I confess. I never write amazon reviews. I like myself a little less every day for not contributing but I'm never really moved to do so. Even on the bad stuff. Most things I buy are just what they should be and nothing more. You buy it, you get it, you use it, and thats it. Life goes on. Not this thing. This sixteen dollar knife. $16. No not this thing. This thing makes the world stop turning the second you lay eyes on it and utterly changes your life the first time you use it. I know what you're thinking, and I was right there with you. "A box cutter for an EDC? Have you lost your mind!?" Well maybe I have. And if I did it might be the single greatest thing that's ever happened to me. I don't know why i never thought about a utility knife EDC but now I'll never go back. It's not like I'm trudging through the woods every day hunting wild game and cutting down redwoods to build a shelter. No. I work in an office. I sit behind a desk. Every now and then I use my knife to slice my snack apple into pieces so I can feel a little manlier inside -- but 99% of the time I use it to do one thing-- open amazon packages. This knife is downright sexy. I mean it- sexy. The wood is immaculate, the craftsmanship is flawless, the flip mechanism is sturdy, and it's built like an absolute tank. Seriously- it's beautiful. I find it hard to keep my hands off it sometimes. It's sitting on my desk as I'm typing this and I keep stopping to look at it and admire it. Weird right? You wont think it's weird when yours shows up. Buy it. Do it. Buy it now. Get it overnighted. You're going to hate yourself for every second you've ever spent without it once you realize what true love is. Are there cons? Sure there are cons. Everything has cons. The superior build quality gives it a good bit of heft, so it can have a tendency to weigh you down, but it's nothing compared to the weight of the regret you'll carry if you don't buy it. The flip mechanism is a bit stiff so it requires two hands to open. I'm a one-handed flipper myself and feel a bit silly trying to sling this guy open. Then I remember how incredible of a knife it is and realize I can never be seen as silly again as long as I've got it with me. On a more serious note I do hope it loosens a bit so i can open it one-handed. Then I can carry two.

Nice robust utility knife. Its got some weight to it but I like that. When you open the knife and it locks in place, its solid and secure. No wiggling at all. Easy to swap out blades as well.

Great knife, I open lots of boxes and this folding knife is just great, especially with the 10 blade refills

This item is amazingly stable and sturdy well built. It has real good weight to it. It feels like it’s made out of good material and it comes with 10 extra blades which are also reversible which is of course something like 20 new blades. I lost my first two I actually ended up buying a third and we do my best not to lose it. They keep falling out of my pocket, not by any fault of the Cutter itself but mostly my fault but love owning it so I bought others. I highly recommend.

Nice quality knife should work well for my recent job. Came with a small box of 10 replacement blades.

This is an extremely high quality utility knife for the price. The steel and wood materials are not only aesthetically pleasing but make the knife rugged and durable, blade retention is equal to some of the best out there like the Milwaukee fastback. I don’t know if this is an intentional design feature, but you can extend the length of the blade slightly when changing out blades as well and it will have the same blade retention. Blade change is quick and easy, no need for screws or wrenches to swap out a blade. Great option for EDC, couldn’t recommend enough, so far very impressed with WorkPro’s products, will buy another in the future.

Overall, it's a great knife. I had one for years and recently bought another to replace it after it walked off with someone. This is more of a buyer beware, but the one I received was clearly opened and used (dirt on it, fingerprints, blade was pulled and had some tape on it). I didn't knock the rating since it could be an Amazon issue, but something to be aware of.

This is a heavy duty utility knife. By far the best I've ever used.
