Classic telling of Daredevil’s origin and background. Artwork is top notch. Great storytelling. Spoiler, If you’re looking for Daredevil fighting villains in his costume throughout, this is not the book for you. Definitely has the Frank Miller feel, if you’ve read some of his other stories.

If you like Daredevil, Miller's The Man Without Fear is a must read. It's one of those stories that draws you in and forces you to pay attention to it. It's not a story you can read absentmindedly or anything like that. It's level of detail is far too meticulous and wonderfully entertaining to allow that. The only thing I need to mention is this: if you've never read any of Miller's previous DD work, then this title may not have its full dramatic and aesthetic effect. I'd definitely recommend reading where Miller picks up the DD as an artist to eventual writer in the middle of the franchise (these stories are collected in TPBs). It seems backwards, I know. But it is to me the best reading order for one of Miller's most enrapturing and beautiful writing tenures.

My son loved this comic

This is the definitive story of Dared devil's origin - it is the story of a flawed man who has been dealt a losing hand, but refuses to fold in the face of injustice.

This is a really nice book. The graphics and panels are nicely detailed, I like the harder paperback covers which looked to me like they will last longer. My son is over the moon about this year that he picked out himself. It is a quality heart and a work of art! I look forward to purchasing more from this seller.

A classic read from great creators. The team of Miller and Romita give us a 'Year One' of the best Marvel character on par with Miller and Mazuchelli's other 'Year One' staple.

Frank Miller never misses. I’m new to the character, and now Miller has me hooked. Time to read his other daredevil stories.

I genuinely got a kick out of this reworking of Daredevil's origin story. Frank Miller gets two thumbs up from me. Having read the first telling of this tale, I liked this smoother less janky reimagining. These rewrites don't always work but this one does.
