I am a beginner, and I bought this bat. One side is smooth, and the other side is rough, meaning it was glued incorrectly. Professional table tennis bats have smooth surfaces on both sides. If you are a beginner, this bat is good for learning, but it doesn't produce much spin.

Very basic - ease of use. Bought for my kids(12 & 8 yrs age) as starter. Balls are good compared to rackets. Do not expect spins.Take care that rubber pads shouldn't be removed.
