I have been looking at different options for tailgate ladders for a while now when I came across this unit. With the 660LB weight rating, it was exactly what i was looking for. I installed it in less than 30 minutes and it functions just as intended. The provided hardware is quite nice, but I will be replacing the included self tappers for bolts since my tailgate is thin aluminum and I don't trust them.

Installed on a 2022 Jeep Gladiator with the Swingcases, and Softopper installed. I knew there was some risk with clearance but it worked. I rigged it for passenger side access. The swivel base is mounted 4 inches from the rear edge and 3/4 inch from the passenger side. Photos attached. Product is quality made, price was fair. Thank you.

Makes it easy to get into the bed of the truck. You do have to drill into tail gate. Only negative is if your not paying attention, it can rub against the wire holding the tailgate to the bed. You just have to adjust how far you pull out ladder or just spin it toward the back when u fold out to use. You can see where it rubbed even though I never used it without making sure it's not touching, just from flipping it over to use.

Like others have said, the securing straps aren't the best. I was going to try and find another method of attaching, but I really wasn't to thrilled at the idea od drilling more holes only to have something on the tailgate that would get in the way of pallets or other things I might slide onto the bed. I elected to use the provided straps without the brackets and just use an existing bolt and hole on the tailgate.

Item is of good quality. It does not fit on tailgate of Ford Mavericks. About 1" too big and cannot be adjusted any smaller.

My husband loved it. It truly made it easy to get in and out of the truck at our old age.

Ladder works great. It is showing a little rust around all edges (welds), although I have a tonneau top on the truck.

The 3- step Ladder (advertised for Toyota/Nissan trucks) works very well on my truck (RAM 2500) tailgate. I am using it for getting into my camper and I did not need the style with the bar/handle, as I have a swing out grab bar on the back of camper. The camper sticks just past the truck's bed and there was enough tailgate room to mount the ladder. It is an ideal solution for my situation. It is: quick and easy to deploy; sturdy to use; and a snap to lay back onto the tailgate and secure with the included strap. Very happy with this purchase.
