Worded great for acid etching
I have no issue a shipping the product was packed extremely well I didn’t leak whatsoever. I use this for acid etching my pocket knife and clip. I cut it one part acid, one part water and had each part in the acid for about 13 minutes. I saw other side of this was a weak version of the acid I have no comparison this is my first time purchasing, sorry. I will say if you’re using it for acid etching it will work clearly you can see the photos. I would buy again but I don’t think this acid ever goes bad. I hopr this review and photo are helpful.

This is the very common stuff used alot.
That title says it all. This is ferric chloride etchant for copper-clad printed circuit boards. I t works fine; exactly as expected. I always found stuff from MG to be reliable and wysiwyg, which is why I like their stuff. Thanks.

It works really good for knives..
I mix this 160z FC solution to 36oz of distilled water for knife etching in a 1/2 gallon glass wide mouth mason jar with a plastic lid and it works good. To see the best results leave it in for about 10 minutes and then rinse and use a wet sponge to scrub the blade. This will reveal just how dark your blade is. If you want it darker put it back in and repeat. This process will dull your blade so be ready to sharping when done or coat that part with fingernail polish. The picture is of 2 knives, one etched and the other in original condition. The whole process took less than 30 minutes. I suggest you wear gloves and safety glasses just in case and store this stuff in a manner that will prevent the container from breaking and keep some baking soda on hand for any spills to neutralize the acid. Be very careful that your metal parts do not drop in the jar. This could shatter the jar and leave you with a serious mess to clean up. If you get it on your skin dont freak out, it will take it a few minutes to do anything and if you rinse your skin with water asap it will not burn you. Keep this stuff away from pets that might ingest it. If they get enough your pet will have to be put down because the acid will destroy their GI tract and it will be a very painful death otherwise. On that cheerful note good luck and happy etching. :)

Perfect for knife blades
Excellent for etching knife blades. Mix about 50/50 with vinegar and itll etch your hardened knife blades to a deep dark color quickly.

A good chemical for etching
I like that it's a fast acting chemical for etching copper although it is a harsh and somewhat hazardous concoction. That's the trade off if you want something that works quickly though so I have no complaints.
