Nature's Way Vitamin D3, Bone Health and Immune Function*, 2000 IU (50 mcg per Serving), 120 Softgels (Packaging May Vary)

I was, and am unfortunately once again (I stopped taking these!) severely vitamin D deficient. Nothing worked, and that includes D rich foods, and spending time in the sun. Once I started taking these on a daily basis, my D levels rose SIGNIFICANTLY within a matter of months. The change was marked, thrilling and quite obviously connected to my then diligent use of this product. Whether you are D deficient or not I would give these my highest recommendation. They do not have any nasty ingredients, food coloring or anything else I'm uncomfortable ingesting. Buy these, especially if you are D deficient. You will not regret this purchase. Oh, and I started taking these after my doctor gave me a prescription for 20,000 IU daily for a few months. I was that deficient.

Really liked this shirt, colors are bright and I received a lot of compliments. The material is a little silky, but I didn’t mind it that much.

I've experimented much with varying vitamin D dosages over the years. Currently there is a lot of good information out there that suggests that 5000 IU's is a good supplemental dosage of vitamin D, specially for people that don't get a lot of sun exposure on a daily basis. I have tried the 5000 IU dosage off and on again enough times to be able to determine that 5000 is a bit too high for my situation. Keep in mind that Vitamin D can have a hormonal effect when you get in to the higher dosages. In my case if I take 5000 IU's and stay on that dosage, after 1.5 to 2 months I start to have prostrate issues as in inflammation due to the fact that hormone levels increase (both testosterone and estrogen) at which point those hormones break down in to DHT or Dihydrotestosterone which is one of the main culprits of inflammation of the prostrate as androgenic alopecia (male pattern hair loss). When I've backed the dosage down to 4000 IU's, I don't get that hormonal effect enough to cause any prostrate issues. Keep in mind that vitamin D awareness has increase dramatically in the past few years with all of the studies that have been done showing the benefits of supplementing with it and dosages that are higher than the current RDA amount, thus vitamin D is being added to alot of foods and drinks as well as multi-vitamins at a sizable dosage. I do take a multi-vitamin that already has 2000 IU's of vitamin D in it, so this is where this Nature's Way 2000 IU vitamin D3 is very useful. The dosage is perfect for me to compliment what's already in my multi-vitamin and still keep me around 4000 IU's daily which is where I've personally noticed the most benefit. These softgels are pretty tiny so i wouldn't expect anyone to have any problems swallowing them.

I originally checked out this supplement on Labdoor.com and it's highly recommended. I started taking it and I feel great! A good option if you work indoors and don't get enough sunlight. Liquid sunshine in an easy-to-swallow gel capsule. Good for the bones; good for the mood. I've purchased this here on Amazon multiple times!
