K-Edge Niterider Light Adapter Gunmetal, One Size

Wonderful product that gets my NiteRider Lumina off the handlebar and out front, focused where I want it tucked neatly under my GPS. Like all K-Edge products it is a CNC machined, work of art. Reading other reviews there has clearly been some confusion with people buying their products thinking they will fit to their stock Garmin mounts. You must already have the K-Edge handlebar mount FOR your Garmin (or other brand GPS) AND in this instance the optional Go-Pro mount installed to the bottom. The NiteRider mount bolts to the Go-Pro mount; only one can be used at a time. One very small nit which doesn't even impact my star rating, is that the NiteRider mount uses set screws to lock it in place on your light which then gets bolted to the Go-Pro mount. So the light itself is not easily removable at the point requiring that you recharge it while on the bike.

I own the PD Out Front bike mount and wanted to attach a Nite Rider Micro 900 to it. All the other GoPro adapters I'd seen were ABS plastic and as a gravel rider I was concerned with durability. Enter the K-Edge metal mount. This thing fits perfectly and mounts securely to both my PD bike mount and the Note Rider light. Zero concerns it will fall off due to vibration or crack under a crash scenario. Well machined and good looking too. This is the one.

I used this to mount my Niterider using a Go-Pro adapter underneath a K-Edge Garmin mount. It was the perfect solution... solid and sleek. But about 2K miles of usual wear, including riding in the rain, the bolt between the Go-Pro adapter and the Niterider adapter seized up and no matter what I tried I couldn’t remove the light. I jimmied the light off and and threw the conjoined adapters away. Having said that I actually ordered another of each adapter and remounted them just because I like them so much. But I’m viewing it as basically disposable at this point.

This is a great product! Well made, fits perfectly and is a breeze to install. I don't use my light often so didn't want to ride around with the bulky Niterider bracket on all the time. It's kind of a pain to install too, plus I could only mount it off to the side on the lower cross bar so I was looking for an alternative. I paired this with a small bracket that screws into my Canyon Garmin mount and also purchased a Go Pro style thumb screw (not pictured) to make it a super easy on easy off process.

It's perfect for what it is. It's expensive but it's very strong and you probably won't break it. It attaches quite nicely and has never come loose or fallen off. The screws come with thread lock pre installed as well. Highly recommend.

I use this to mount my light to a GoPro style mount under the stem on my bike . Works as advertised and feels sturdy. The CNC aluminum mount fit on with no fuss . Some might think it’s a little bit on the expensive side but after getting mine I think it’s worth it. I will probably get another one for a helmet light so I can run two lights.

More than I wanted to spend but still a bargain compared to the selling price of junky, cast plastic versions.

The mount looks really good quality. When installing to my NiteRider, I followed the recommended torque setting (which specifies to use less than 30 Nm) and set my torque wrench to 20 Nm and stripped the provided allen screw. Now the K-Edge mount is permanently attached to my Lumina which is not very nice...
