Perfect Beach Chair for Travel and Comfort
Perfect Beach Chair for Travel and ComfortI’ve gone through a handful of beach chairs over the years, but this one is easily the best yet. It’s incredibly lightweight—I can carry it with one hand or even toss it over my shoulder using the strap. What really stands out is how compact it folds down; it actually fits into my beach tote without sticking out, which makes packing so much easier.Despite being small and light, it’s surprisingly sturdy and comfortable. I’m about 6 feet tall and it holds me just fine, no wobble or sinking in. The fabric feels tough and breathable, and the low profile lets you stretch your legs out comfortably on the sand. Setup is super quick—just unfold and sit. Done. This has become my go-to chair not just for the beach but for park days, camping, and even backyard hangouts. If you want something easy to carry that doesn’t sacrifice comfort, this chair nails it. Highly recommend!

Great purchase, comfy and compact.
This is small but very comfy! Everyone was envious of me! Many took it for a test drive and loved it. Great purchase! The only downside is it’s hard to get it back in its carrying case. I accidentally broke the zipper of my case. But I made due without the carrying case.

Not perfect, but good value and functional enough for car camping
Review context: I got the black chair with the square frame. I'm 5'1", 115lbs (petite) but I have broad shoulders.SUMMARY: good value for a $37 car camping chair. Not the most comfortable, but it's good enough and is significantly comfier (and more portable) than hard, straight backed chairs. It is a medium weight and takes maybe 1 minute to set up and 2-3 minutes to break down once you know how to do it. Keep reading for tips on setup and breakdown/packing beyond what they recommend.-------QUALITY: seems good? Nothing to say about durability yet since I haven't used it heavily. Square frame is stable and I never felt at risk of the chair tipping when sitting or standing up.FIT & COMFORT: My feet sit comfortably flat on the ground which is wonderful for my height, but I don't feel too close to the ground either. My circulation does not get cut off at the legs. Seat depth, size, and width overall feels perfect for me. The chair back does dig *slightly* into my broad shoulders, but I was able to ignore it after awhile. The recline / tilt of this chair actually feels quite comfortable. However, it only goes to the top of my shoulders, which is one of my few reservations. If I want to slouch and look at the sky, I can *just* barely slide/slouch down to do so, but it'd be uncomfortable for any period of time. So if your neck gets tired easily, consider the higher back version. It is also comfy enough to lean forward for a time instead. (FWIW, this chair is *significantly* more comfortable--and lighter--than the first unpadded, straight-backed Amazon Basics chair I tried.)PERKS: Mesh pockets on both sides are great for holding your phone or other small things, but it'd struggle to fit a larger water bottle since they're shallow.PORTABILITY: It is fairly small and easy to pack into a bag or duffel but is definitely a car camping / beach chair. It is also a bit heavier than advertised. Using my kitchen scale, the weight of the whole package (storage bag, frame, canvas, feet) was 2.79 lbs, not 2.6lbs as they claim, so just be aware of this if weight matters to you. I do wish they chose a thinner and lighter material for the chair fabric, but I understand that they went for durability and affordability over weight.SETUP: Set up of the frame is intuitive, but at first I had trouble getting the front legs to fit despite following the provided instructions to do the back first, do one front leg, then tip it back and do the remaining leg. I started over again, and then somehow the front legs fit. I actually recommend tipping it on its SIDE instead of the back so that you compress the front leg on the floor. You'll be able to attach the last leg much more easily.PACKING: No instructions for this... had to reverse engineer the pictures and it took me a bit to understand how to undo the square frame. Once you fold the legs and velcro them together so you have just the square frame, first undo the 2 sides of the frames that have double arrows on them. Then, where it has the rotating arrows, twist those to fold it along the same lengths as the velcro'd legs. Sort of like twisting to fold a pop up tent? Hard to explain but I hope that helps! Then fold the canvas and shove it all in the bag. The bag has some extra room so I've not had issues getting it to fit back in with everything else. Once you get it, probably takes about 2-3 minutes. Faster if you practice.SMELL: I have a slightly sensitive nose. The canvas has a slight chemical smell when opening from the package, but it's actually quite mild and didn't bother me while sitting in it (unlike other chairs I've tried on Amazon). Will probably dissipate after airing for a few hours.Overall - I'd recommend if you're looking for an affordable camping chair. I don't love it, but it's good enough. Give it a try!

Surprisingly comfortable and super light
Pretty easy to set up. Also easy to break down and put back into the carrying case. Super light and surprisingly very comfortable. Would be nice to have a shoulder strap but it was small enough to fit in a small backpack so still convenient. Worked beautifully for outdoor mountain concert.

Comfortable & Stout
Stout chair with great broad feet for almost any ground stability. Comfortable size, not too low, total chair weight is not too bad for the strength of the chair.

Nice chair but could be better with some improvements
Pros:- Frame is easy to set up and break down. Didn't even get to read the instructions because the moment I unlatched the velcro keeping all the pieces together, they practically wanted to snap in place due to the cord inside the frame that guides the metal pieces to their correct spots. Breaking down the frame is as simple as pressing one button and yanking the poles out and collapsing them. I also appreciate that the securing velcros are LONG which ensures that the pieces will be held securely.- Seat fabric is thick and durable and 1 piece. I imagine if the fabric got dirty, you could throw it into the washer on a delicate, cold cycle with some mild detergent. Air dry would probably be best imo so you don't risk shrinking.- The feet adjust to the floor and are wide. The independent rotation of each foot will ensure the chair doesn't wobble on uneven surfaces like grass and the wide feet keeps the chair stable.- Side tabs offer a place for you to rest your arms. This chair doesn't have any traditional arm rest like some chairs have. BUT, the chair has some padding sewn onto both sides that kind of acts like an arm rest once you sit down.- The back is high which means my perpetually tired butt can rest my head whenever I want. This chair has an area where you can secure a mini head pillow which is nice. But I'm also short so my head doesn't reach that area. Not the chair's fault though. #ShortPeopleProblems This means if you're tall, this chair might be great for you. For me, the height of the back offers me support if I lean my head back and that's good enough for me.- The front legs are adjustable by 2-3 inches. This is a benefit for those who are taller or for those who like their chairs to recline more.- Side pocket to hold a cell phone or something. Width is probably 5".Cons:- Getting the fabric onto the frame was kind of a pain once I was on the last corner. If you have weak wrists, this is not the chair for you.- The corner holds on the fabric near the thigh are too shallow. About 3/4" of the frame goes into the corner holds. This puts more stress on the fabric that holds the frame in place and will probably wear down the fabric sooner than expected. The corner holds should have at least 2" of fabric to support the frame in place.- The legs in the front are not far enough apart which causes tipping when getting up. To help with this issue, I put a little pressure at the base of the front legs with the heels of my feet when I get up. I attached an image with my sandals placed how I would do this. Light pressure is key because while the chair is sturdy enough, the feet base is still made of plastic.- The cup holder is a bottle with a cap only holder. The thing goes sideways so if you have a drink in a cup or a drink with a straw opening, it's going to spill everywhere. In the photos, the pink bottle has a base diameter of 3" and it was a super tight fit. So no bottles bigger than that. Standard water bottle fit fine. You will feel the bottle on your left side.- The fabric under my thigh kind of cuts into my leg. The seat could use a horizontal support bar across the bottom so the fabric doesn't curve up when you sit.And something to note, the fabric that supports your tush is about 12" wide which means this chair is kind of narrow once sat in. If you prefer or need a wider chair, this might not work for you.Overall, the chair is okay and meets my needs. It's compact, light, quick to assemble, and comfortable enough. If you're looking for a decent high back chair that is reasonably priced, this is good.
