Not hard to install,,,leveled the arm up when I added the new acrylic platter that was a little taller than the original

Bought this to accompany the acrylic platter and it works exactly as it should. The installation on my OG Debut 3 wasn't that difficult and after rebalancing my tonearm the cartridge looks perfectly aligned with the new platter.

After going through two Ortofon 2M Blues on my Project DC Espirit that rode WAY too low it was touching the vinyl, I gave up and thought I would never find a way to upgrade from the 2M red. Turns out Pro Ject made a VTA shim last year for $25, but kinda hard to find dealers that sell it, so I just kept forgetting about it. Finally decided to give it a try, searched here on Amazon and found this one, which is the exact same as the Pro Ject product and follows the same instructions, but happens to be cheaper. The installation is not easy but not hard, I do not do any kind of DIY projects and still could install this myself. Installed the 2M blue and it's riding perfectly. Definitely recommend this product.

Shim is good quality and only takes about ten minutes to install if you're being extra cautious (less if you're not). I am still using the dampened metal platter that came with my Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO, but I have a 3mm acrylic mat on top, so the shim was a must to raise up the tonearm. Glad I found this lower cost alternative from a small business. Does it improve the sound? Hard to tell, but I like to think it does! I think the SUPREMETECH acrylic platter is next up!

Seems to be working, I need little more but also the tone arm screws are not long enough to be ticker shim. Will help with the acrylic platter
