I did receive this product and the box says “this is a set don not separate “ why does it say this? i just received one item the egg.

When sellers send their items in to the Amazon warehouse they put that note on the box. This lets Amazon know not to open that box and to ship it as is. Otherwise they might open the box and ruin what is packed inside.

I wanted this to be shipped in amazon packaging but i can't tell if it will. where can i find that info?

I cannot help you with your question regarding Amazon packaging but I can tell you that mine were very well packed in individual boxes inside another bigger box. I ordered 4 of them. Not a scratch.

only the shell comes right?

No, it comes with a baby ostrich. You’re expected to sit on the egg until it hatches, and then raise it as one of your own (teach it between right and wrong, how to brush its teeth, go for a walk, etc.)

Are these very fragile?

No they are not fragile. When I was in New Zealand I got to stand on one. They are very hard to crack.

Really nice clean & heavy

I don’t know nothing about ostrich eggs but these seem really nice. I’m a Jeweler by trade in an expert at piercing. I may try carving these or I may order more to do that but these are perfect for my Waterfront Crystal vases for Easter.
