Awesome product and excellent value. Saved a lot by being able to read trouble codes, make repairs and reset trouble codes.

I bought this because my Check Engine light came on, and I didn’t want to go to the shop without having at least an idea of what the issue could be. I was honestly surprised by how easy it is to use. I just plugged it in, turned on the car, and within seconds the code popped up on the screen. What I liked the most is that you don’t need to be a mechanic to understand it. The screen is clear, the buttons work well, and it gives you a simple description of the code, not just the number. In my case, it helped me identify a problem with the catalyst sensor, so I avoided being overcharged at the shop. I also like that it works with most cars (mine is a 2012 and it recognized it with no issue) and you don’t need any external app or Bluetooth connection — everything is direct and quick. It feels sturdy, lightweight, and comes ready to use. Honestly, for the price, it’s totally worth it. It’s one of those tools that gets you out of trouble and gives you peace of mind. I recommend it.

I don’t like not knowing what’s wrong with my car and solely relying on a repairman’s estimate. It is expensive when your car needs work and if you’re not a car person you don’t know if there’s more being charged than needed. I had an engine light coming on and picked this up to see what the problem was. It was fairly easy to use but you do need to do some googling to get more understanding of the codes. I was able to know what area of my car was causing the light to come on and when I took it to repair shop they told me something different and more expensive. I took it to another shop and their diagnosis matched what the sensor said. Using this helped me understand what might be wrong and I feel that knowledge helped me make a more informed decision when seeking repair. The second estimate was $300 less than the first and I haven’t had any further issues since they made the repairs.

This thing works great, I used ai to explain everything, there is lots of info this thing gives you, and the fact you can reset your engine light makes me very happy, great value for the money, code clarity is good, it tells you the code and the severity of what's wrong, and it's super fast!!! Works Great. I watched a few videos of the scan tool and it works like it should. Although I don't have any codes now. Very easy to use. Decent price. No complaints.

It was very easy to use. The price is reasonable also. Came with instructions that was easy enough for my daughter who knows very little about her car besides check oil and water. She was able to hook up the code reader and get the codes so we could fix that check engine light that came one.

User manual is seriously lacking. Still not sure what the cable is for and I definitely had a CHECK ENGINE dash warning light lit up but scanner showed no error codes. So I’m not happy. Product seem very solid & well made though.

I watched a lot of review videos and found this was a good option. Great price to have, to store it in the car. Tested on a VW 2016 car, does the job. You need a more advanced one for certain issues but this is a good unit for entry level stuff.

works perfectly as described. use it for cylinder misfire information and it works well. The cord is long enough to keep plugged in while driving to get live data and the unit is nice and compact. The screen display also very bright and clear. Very happy with the pricepoint for the quality of this unit.
