If you are buying this chair just for decoration, it’s great ! Go for it!! A fraction of the cost !!!But, that’s not what we bought it for !1) They are very light and flimsy chairs !I was hesitant to sit on it and I’m Petite.My husband had to convince me to try it out. But, I would not feel comfortable asking someone a little bigger sit on it. I am now researching its weight capacity. It’s REALLY flimsy. Totally explains the price.2) One person had mentioned that it’s not good for toddlers as it’ll tip over (bec it’s so light and flimsy) while they try to climb on it. I read all the other reviews and no one else had mentioned it so I moved on. The person was totally right!! We have 3 children, my 22 month old could not climb on it as it kept on tilting over. Ugh, you can totally not be relaxed if a child is around...3) Too many pieces had big dents and imperfections on them....But customer service at amazon was excellent about that.I would NOT recommend this product unless you are using it to stage a room and not for actual use.You won’t be relaxed if little ones are around trying to sit them and you will be embarrassed if an adult sits and it collapses.I am not sure why it got such high ratings. Probably price and aesthetics.

Use: Bar stools. We got the 30" stools.Likes: complementary to space; modern; light; comes in boxes of 2; perfect height for 43" high kitchen bar (our family heights range from 5' to over 6'; allen wrench supplied has a circular part that allows for screwing at an angle - much needed for all bolts; came with 1 extra screw for some screws (better more than less); well packed/padded with a bunch of styrofoam and corrugated cardboard.Dislikes: assembly requires patience and hand/grip strength; lots of screwing-in needed; though stools are nice and light, this feature makes them easy to tip when climbing up or getting off (maybe moreso for those 5' tall or shorter), but not too bad; of the four stools assembled, noticed a few small nicks/scuffs here and there, but not too obvious; if you are 6' tall and 230 pounds, we don't recommend wiggling the stool left-and-right while sitting on it (on carpet), as seems to be not super duper sturdy for wiggling, which shouldn't be done anyway. :)Would purchase again.

It's my fault for buying before measuring... I you are like me looking for a stool to match your Ikea kitchen island, this stool is too tall for you!Pretty easy to assemble. Minimal instructions and no need for power tools. I get what people mean in the comments when they says it's not the sturdiest chair Goldilocks ever sat on, but it's decent. I still wish this came in a shorter size because it looks beautiful.

Bought these for my mom... And she loves them. But they were shipped from Walmart and were actually cheaper on the Walmart website.. Not sure why there was a proce dofference. But if you like these just price check at Walmart also. Wasn't to much a pain to put together

These chairs fit perfectly with the high top counter in my kitchen. They also look amazing and I have gotten quite a few comments on them. Overall I am extremely satisfied with these chairs.They are pretty easy to put together; the side bars were a tad tricky, making sure that I didn't put them on upside down, but other than that, it was a cake walk and it comes with all of the tools you need. Although it has all the tools, a Phillip's head screw driver with a longer handle makes it easier. The stools are for the most part sturdy. I'd give the sturdiness an 8.5/10; the material is a softer wood and not the most expensive so I wasn't expecting them to be. They're holding their own with the four children! Truth be told, I would buy these chair again in a heart beat! You really do get an amazing, good looking piece of furniture for a great price

Pros: These are great looking and not too hard to put together. Cons: Seat is hard. Will probably be buying cushions. Also, the weight is all at the seat so can tip if kids are climbing up to sit. Overall pleased.

One of my better buys here at Amazon, (Amazon Rocks), I had no issues with the chairs at all. Package very well. We used wood glue to increase the strength of the chairs but it may not really need it. I found the instructions simple and straight forward. Hardware was nice and intuitive. I put both together in under 30mins and I was out varnishing them so for two it took about an hour for both plus 3 hours for the the varnish to dry enough so I could bring it back in the house. I weigh about 215 pounds and I sit in the chair all the time and it never made a sound if it was stressed at all. I'm putting felt on the bottom of the legs. Not to protect the floor to protect the chair from my tile flooring lol. You may want to this if you have hardwood to protect the floor. I read others have had issues but I had none. You could paint these any color to suite your needs as for me vanish is all I wished to do. Hope this helps folks.

I didn’t expect these stools to be comfortable but I was hoping the foot rails would be up a little higher so shorter people can rest their feet on them. Hanging your legs in the front starts to get painful after a minute. One of the back rails was slightly cracked and I feel like I shouldn’t wiggle around to much or the stool will collapse. While adding the seat I had to have someone sit on it while I screwed in the screw from underneath otherwise it moved around. Not totally satisfied but I guess they work.
