Lavazza Qualita Rossa Coffee Beans (1Kg)

I liked the taste of this coffee and the good foam. I got the optimal taste with a fine grind and maximum strength of espresso 2 Oz.

Lavazza is amazing. I lived in Sicily for three years and drank Lavazza every day. I was concerned that buying coffee online would not be as good as I was used to, but this product did not disappoint.The bold flavor is perfect in the morning. I enjoy two to three different types of espresso drinks every day. I have an Italian automatic machine and a standard peculator, and the coffee is great in both.I recommend using this product in a non-stovetop device for an espresso. Lavazza produces a thick crema top that is awesome for espresso. The crema is less dense on the stovetop peculator. In contrast, a stovetop works great for a morning capo. The coffee has a nice flavor on medium heat, and I can use as much espresso as I want. The espresso machine does not allow me to increase the quantity of single or double shots. A double shot is best in a capo.The price is great, and the bag lasts about a month. I recommend using the auto-ship option to save even more money.

Lavazza Qualita Rossa is hands down my favorite espresso blend! The beans are roasted to perfection, delivering a full-bodied, smooth espresso with a delightful hint of chocolate. The aroma is intense and fills the kitchen every time I brew a cup. You can really taste the quality and authentic Italian craftsmanship in every sip. I mean, I’m sorry? I’m not a snob or anything. Well, I drink Lavazza and illy so maybe I am a little? I love me some gas station coffee so you decide.Okay, so this coffee:-good packaging? Yes.-good size? Yes.-freshness? Yes.-quality overall? She real good. Two thumbs up.Flavor is the whole problem for me. I originally bought this for cold brew but ended up using a different Lavazza blend. Whatever. So homegirl has been sitting in a dry, cool space (my cabinet) for like 2 months-ish. Anyways, I run out of my illy Classico for moka pot and I’m like, “yes, party. New beanz. Let’s do this.” I blitz her up and the smell is good, the texture is legit, good amount of that good-good bean oil aka. I’m into it. Then I brew and I’m like, meh. Mind you, I inhale my coffee while rapidly preparing for work. (Wait wait wait.. I didn’t realize until right now but I’ve been drinking mediocre coffee at work.. maybe to compensate. In the words of Ted “Theodore” Logan, “WHOA.”)I’m writing this after brewing for a second day. It’s my day off so I think I’m paying more attention to what’s going on. I have no food cooking, my neighbors aren’t cooking, no smells coming from anything that I think would affect this aroma or flavor. I added 2 sugar cubes (my regular) and 2% milk (normal as well) - it’s an americano, if you will. To me, THIS TASTES LIKE BACON GREASE. For real. Okay, fun fact: I was a professional chef for like 12ish years so I KNOW WHAT BACON GREASE IS. This, this coffee has the initial flavor of chocolate I get for Hanukkah (chalky and artificial sweetener). The smell is savory and then bada bing, bada boom - bacon grease. Not fat, grease. Like someone has used it for shallow frying and now it’s bitter, slightly burnt.Summary: this is just me and my taste buds. Like I said, everything else is great. It’s truly (are you ready for this?) …….. a matter of taste. Hahaha!

The most smooth and creamy taste in the middle roast grade. Not bitter and sour as the dark roast.It defiantly fits my personal taste.

It's good coffee, especially for the price. But sometimes I get a batch that tastes like I'm sucking down mulch juice. (A woody taste means the beans are too old and shouldn't have been roasted.) I'd chalk it up to a quality control issue, but it's happened a few times now, so... who knows? Maybe I'll switch to a more reliable brand.UPDATE: In hindsight, every other bag of Lavazza has been gross and stale. I have decided to no longer buy this coffee. It's just super unpleasant to open a new bag of coffee and inhale the musty aroma of stale-ass beans. I'm probably gonna gift my leftover Lavazza to a family member whose coffee tastes are questionable anyway. (Sorry, Mom.) I've knocked off a star, leaving this coffee sitting firmly at 3 out of 5. Mid.

Very Smooth.. no bitter bite at all, but powerful buzz. This is less bitter than Super Crema and really enjoy this one and may be the best so far.. I enjoy this one better than Super Crema and Barista Gran Crema... If you want a more stronger coffee, go with the Super Crema... I you want the same energetic buzz with less bitterness and still has the crema top.. .this is the one for you!
